| In oil field production,the compact electrostatic coalescer has been paid more attention because of its compact structure,good demulsification effect,and low energy consumption.However,due to factors such as the small electrode spacing and the immature insulation coating spraying process,the electrostatic coalescer Can not achieve long-term safe operation.This paper proposes a new type of insulation method and develops a small power supply to achieve the purpose of compact and stable operation of the overall equipment.Before this equipment is applied to a multi-stage sedimentation tank,the droplet size can be increased several times and greatly reduced.The volume of subsequent dehydration equipment.This article introduces in detail the structural design and related dimensions of the pipeline electrostatic coalescer,compares the characteristics of different electrode materials,insulating materials,and insulating forms,and selects the insulated electrode form that is more suitable for industrial applications.Use Comsol software to numerically simulate the electric field in the electrostatic coalescer,calculate the electric field strength and residence time under different equipment sizes,and provide a reference for the development and manufacturing of the electrostatic coalescer.This paper found through laboratory experiments that too high electric field strength will cause "electric dispersion" in the milky state,and the optimal electric field strength will decrease with the increase of water content and frequency;the droplet size will change in an "N" shape with the increase of the electric field frequency.According to the law,the first inflection point is the optimal frequency,and the value of the optimal frequency is inversely proportional to the electric field strength;AC pulse wave combines the advantages of DC pulse and AC power,the actual electric field strength is higher than the effective value,the optimal electric field of AC pulse wave The intensity is small;as the emulsion flow rate decreases,the droplet coalescence effect is obvious,but when the flow rate is too small,the frequency and intensity of collisions between emulsion droplets are reduced,which is not conducive to the rupture of the droplet interface film;with the device electrode plate voltage Increase,the energy consumption growth rate of the electrostatic coalescer greatly increases,the higher the moisture content,the corresponding increase in energy consumption.In the selection of electric field parameters,not only the better coalescence effect of the electrostatic coalescer should be considered,but also the energy consumption of the equipment should be small.The plate voltage should be less than the "electric dispersion" voltage in order to pursue the highest coalescence effect and lower Power loss.Due to the large size of the commonly used power supply equipment,which violates the original intention of the pipeline-type electrostatic coalescer compact structure,this paper designs and manufactures a set of new power supply equipment based on the results of the indoor experimental coalescence effect,which has a small footprint and can achieve long Stable operation over time,the energy consumption of the new power supply equipment is only one-third to half of the energy consumption of the old power supply,and the energy saving effect is significant.Under the same experimental conditions,the new power supply equipment has a dehydration rate of about 10% higher than the upper emulsion of the old power supply.,Has better industrial application value. |
