Volcanic rock reservoirs are widely distributed in China.Volcanic rock reservoirs have been discovered in many areas such as the Junggar Basin and Songliao Plain, which have considerable reserves and huge exploration potential. They are important alternative areas for stable oil and gas production in the future.Volcanic rock reservoirs are mostly fractured bottom water reservoirs in China. The frequent bottom water coning phenomenon during the development process will cause oil wells to break water in advance, rapidly reduce oil production, and affect the development benefits of the reservoirs. Therefore, study the pattern and law of bottom water rise during the development of volcanic fractured reservoirs, clarify the influencing factors of bottom water rise, and propose effective measures to minimize the process of bottom water coning, which is important for the efficient development of this type of reservoir. It has far-reaching significance. In this paper, taking a volcanic fractured reservoir in western China as an example, using indoor physical simulation experiments combined with reservoir numerical simulation methods, the research on the rising law of bottom water in volcanic fractured reservoirs is carried out.First, carry out visualization model experiments of different types of fracture-cavity combinations, and propose the bottom water rise mode of this type of reservoir;then use mathematical model derivation and numerical simulation to clarify the seepage law of this type of reservoir, and study the influence of bottom water rise Orthogonal analysis of various factors and parameters is carried out to determine the weight sequence;finally, according to the development characteristics of different types of reservoirs, countermeasures to control bottom water rise are proposed. The research results show that the bottom water rise patterns of volcanic fractured reservoirs can be divided into three types: rapid rise, violent flooding and slow rise.Different modes correspond to different types of reservoirs.Through reservoir engineering analysis and numerical simulation research,it is believed that the use of horizontal well development is more suitable for the current development status of volcanic reservoirs.Studies believe that the main factors affecting the rise of bottom water in volcanic rock reservoirs are geological factors and development parameters, among which stratigraphic anisotropy ratio, fracture distribution, horizontal well length and well spacing dominate;according to the development characteristics of different types of reservoirs,Combined with the geological parameters of the actual block, corresponding optimization schemes are proposed for production parameters.According to the above research results, general rules applicable to the same type of reservoirs can be summarized, which has guiding significance for the efficient development of volcanic fractured reservoirs.
