With the progress and development of science and technology,fabrics and their composite materials play an important role in fields such as textiles and clothing,agricultural production,civil engineering and construction.However,such fabrics and their composite materials are inevitably subjected to external forces from rigid objects during use,resulting in three-dimensional deformation and even permanent material damage.Fabric bagging is one of these phenomena,which is often seen in daily production and life.The methods for evaluating fabric bagging can be divided into subjective rating and objective evaluation.Subjective evaluation utilizes human subjective will to evaluate the degree of fabric bagging,requiring a certain number of reviewers to conduct quantitative statistics and analysis after evaluation.The objective evaluation method is to use various measurement techniques to test the characteristic values of fabric bagging.The defects of too many participants in subjective evaluation and large individual differences easily lead to discretization and inaccurate results,but there is no cost burden of high-precision testing equipment.At present,non-contact detection equipment based on image processing technology has been one of the research hotspots in recent years to extract fabric bagging feature values and determine the degree of bagging.By using digital image processing technology to reconstruct a 3D model of fabric bagging,not only can the changes in bagging height be visually observed,but also not affected by human factors,making the evaluation of fabric bagging level more accurate.This article modifies the image acquisition equipment on a universal material mechanics experimental machine,and then utilizes computer digital image processing technology to extract relevant feature values and objectively evaluate fabric bagging.The main research work is as follows: 1)Select 5 common clothing fabrics in the market and analyze the basic mechanical properties of the fabrics through fabric stretching,tearing,and bursting experiments.Improve the experimental equipment for fabric bagging,create a camera system for embedded bagging sample fixtures,etc.,which can accurately capture images of fabric bagging deformation.2)Conduct mechanical performance testing on fabrics during bagging,analyze the characteristics of stress,deformation,and influencing factors during the fabric bagging process.The classification of bagged stress areas has been determined: main stress area,secondary stress area,and auxiliary stress area.3)Spray three marked points in blue,yellow,and red on the three stress areas.Establish a fitting equation for the bag height by comparing the pixel ratio of the marked points during the bag process,and determine the degree of consistency between the changes in the marked points and the characteristic values of the bag height.In addition,the pixel ratio of the marked points after several hours of fabric recovery is fitted to obtain the residual height of bagging.Through comparative verification,it can be concluded that this method is a highly accurate objective evaluation method for fabric bagging.In summary,a set of fabric bagging mechanical test and bagging image acquisition system are designed,the mechanical properties of fabric bagging are clarified,an objective evaluation method of fabric bagging based on graphic processing is constructed,and the high accuracy of the objective evaluation method of fabric bagging based on image processing is confirmed by verification.The maximum error of the prediction method is32%,the minimum is 12%,and the calculated height is generally slightly higher than the actual height,but the evaluation level is consistent and the accuracy rate is high,and the use of this method makes the test bagging height equipment cost lower and the test method more objective.This study provides a new idea for the research on fabric bagging performance and evaluation methods,and has certain guiding significance for the development of functional fabrics.
