| Diarylethene photochromic dyes are of interest in the fields of information storage,chemical sensing,fluorescent switching and optical anti-counterfeiting because of their fast photoresponse,excellent fatigue resistance and good thermal stability.However,some photochromic fluorophores undergo fluorescence quenching in the aggregated state(ACQ),which limits their practical applications.The introduction of aggregation-induced emission(AIE)fluorophores into molecules is an effective way to overcome this drawback.In this paper,a series of novel diarylethene photochromic compounds(most of which were introduced with AIE fluorophores)were designed and synthesised,their photochromic,fluorescence modulation and AIE properties were investigated,and their applications in the field of ion detection or information storage were studied.The specific work is as follows:(1)Three diaryl ethylene compounds containing pyrene were synthesized by containing ACQ fluorophore pyrene on one side of the diarylethene and introducing AIE fluorophore triphenylethylene or tetraphenylethylene on the other side,and their properties such as photochromic,fluorescence modulation and AIE were investigated.ACQ fluorophore pyrene exhibited obvious AIE phenomenon after the introduction of the AIE fluorophore.(2)Two diarylethene photochromic compounds containing dicyanoethylene and triphenylethylene were designed and synthesized,and they were found to react with cyanide ion.One of the compounds exhibited good photochromic and AIE properties both before and after the addition of cyanide ion,and could effectively detect cyanide ion.(3)Two diarylethene compounds containing phenazimidazole were designed and synthesized.They both possessed intense blue fluorescence and their excellent photochromic properties allowed them to be used in optical information storage applications.Their single crystals were obtained and studied.(4)A novel diarylethene derivative was synthesized by connecting 8-hydroxyquinoline fluorophore on one side of diarylethylene and introducing an attractive triphenylethylene fluorophore on the other side.It was found that it had good photochromic property and fluorescence modulation ability.Its solution changed the intensity and color of fluorescence after the addition of magnesium ions,which could be used for the identification of magnesium ions. |
