Heated cigarette is a kind of tobacco product that uses electronic equipment to heat tobacco materials,and because it has not gone through the high-temperature cracking stage,the harmful substances produced have been greatly reduced,and it is a more environmentally friendly cigarette.However,at present,China’s heating cigarette products are still in their infancy,especially the lack of systematic basic research on circumferential heating cigarettes.To this end,this study established a detection method for the main components of heated cigarette aerosols(propylene glycol,glycerol,nicotine and moisture),studied the release characteristics of the main components and representative harmful components of the circumferential heating cigarette aerosol,and carried out the study of the influencing factors of the release of the main components of the aerosol,aiming to provide theoretical support for product development.The main research contents and results are as follows:Firstly,a gas chromatography-hydrogen flame ion detector/thermal conductivity detector(GC-TCD/FID)detection method that can quickly and accurately determine the main components of heated cigarette aerosols was established;the extraction conditions of the pretreatment of heated cigarette aerosols were optimized;the standard recovery rate,relative standard deviation,detection limit and quantitative limit of the method were investigated,and the results showed that the method can achieve accurate determination of the main components of heated cigarette aerosols.Secondly,using the established detection method,the release of the main components and conventional harmful components in the homemade weekly heated cigarette,the weekly heated cigarette GLO and the traditional cigarette aerosol was compared,and the thermogravimetric analysis of tobacco materials was carried out.The results show that heated cigarettes can produce aerosols that meet consumer needs at low temperatures and do not burn,and can reduce the generation of harmful substances;heated cigarette aerosols are mainly composed of propylene glycol,glycerol,water and nicotin,accounting for more than 75%,and the concentration of the measured harmful components in the aerosol is greatly reduced compared with traditional cigarettes;compared with traditional cigarettes,the hazard index of heated cigarettes is small,of which the hazard index of self-made heated cigarettes is further reduced,which is more environmentally friendly and healthy.Finally,the effects of different ambient humidity,cooling materials and heating temperatures on the release of the main components of the circumferential heating cigarette aerosol were studied by using the established detection methods.In terms of environmental humidity effects,the release of propylene glycol and glycerol in the heating cigarette aerosol decreases with the increase of equilibrium humidity,and the amount of moisture released in the aerosol,the total particle phase release of the aerosol and the inlet temperature of the flue gas increase with the increase of the equilibrium humidity;At 50%-60% relative humidity,the release of aroma and nicotine was the best,and the main component mouth-by-mouth release trend is basically not affected by the equilibrium humidity.In terms of cooling materials,compared with the commonly used cooling material acetate fiber film(CA),polylactic acid film(PLA)has excellent cooling performance and great application potential;the cooling effect of plant fiber film is poor,and the main component of the heating cigarette aerosol is high,and it is not suitable for direct use as a cooling material for heating cigarettes.For heating temperature,the release of the main component of the heating cigarette aerosol increases with the increase of temperature;When the heating temperature is 210℃~ 220℃,it is beneficial for propylene glycol,nicotine and aroma components to be released from the smoke core material.Temperature had little effect on the release uniformity of glycerol and water;the uniformity of the release of glycerol and water is not affected by temperature.
