| In this paper,a new organosilicon alicyclic epoxy compound was synthesized and its UV curing properties were studied.The specific studies are as follows:(1)Using 1,2-epoxy-4-vinyl epoxycyclohexane(EVC)and 1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyltrisiloxane(HTS)as raw materials,we synthesized a novel organosilicon alicyclic epoxy compound,di[2-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl)ethyl]hexamethyltrisiloxan(BEEHTS),by silica-hydrogen addition under the Karstedt catalyst.The molecular structure of the product was determined by FT-IR and ~1H-NMR.After the study we determined the optimal synthesis process conditions.EVC and HTS were synthesized in a molar ratio of 2.15:1.In the synthesis,0.3 wt%of Karstedt catalyst was added to the mixed solution of EVC and toluene.And after the temperature of the system was raised to 85,the mixed solution of HTS and toluene was added to EVC dropwise.After the dropwise addition was completed,the reaction was held for 6 h.The conversion of the system reached 89.1%under this process condition.(2)BEEHTS and triaryl sulfonium hexafluoroantimonate(UVI-6976)were used to prepare the photosensitive resin,and its UV curing properties were studied.And it was found that the curing speed and conversion rate of BEEHTS were most satisfactory under the conditions of UVI-6976 with 4 wt%addition and 60 m W/cm~2light intensity.In this condition,the cured products of BEEHTS were thermally stable and BEEHTS cured products have good thermal stability and can exist stably below230°C,with a final decomposition temperature of up to 570°C.In addition,the mechanical properties of BEEHTS cured products under this condition are the most excellent,with impact strength of 27.3 kg·cm,hardness of H,tensile strength of 19.7MPa,and modulus of elasticity of 451.83 MPa.(3)BEEHTS and UVI-6976 were added epoxy resin(E-51)to form a cationic photosensitive resin,and the UV curing properties of the system were studied.Compared to the pure E-51 system,BEEHTS in the addition of 15 wt%to achieve the best cured product performance and system viscosity decreased by 83.46%in25°C,the curing time decreased by 150 s,the cured product hardness decreased by 1level,elastic modulus decreased by 6.4%,impact strength increased by 96.22%,tensile strength increased by 6%,flexibility increased by 2 level,the thermal weight loss 80%temperature increased by 8.2%,and the static contact angle increased by11.86%.(4)A radical-cationic hybrid photosensitive resin was prepared with epoxy acrylate(DH-306),BEEHTS,2-hydroxy-2-methylpropanone(UV-1173)and UV-6976,and the UV curing performance of the system was studied.It was shown that the best ratio of initiator for the BEEHTS/DH-306 system was UV-1173:UVI-6976=1:2 and the best concentration of compounding initiator is 5 wt%.In addition,the ratio of BEEHTS and DH-306 will also affect the curing performance of the hybrid system.when their ratio is 1:1,we can get the best overall performance of the curing compound.Compared with the epoxy acrylate free radical polymerization system,the contact angle of the hybrid system increased by 39.3%,tensile strength increased by28.05%,modulus of elasticity increased by 11.38%,and impact strength increased by72.29%. |
