China is a big country in the production and consumption of welding materials in the world.Among them, solid welding wire is the largest main body, accounting for more than 45%.The welding wire robot that cooperates with it has also become the mainstream of the market under the promotion of national strategy. In order to be environmentally friendly, environmentally friendly copper-free welding wire is gradually replacing copper-plated welding wire, but the main problem that restricts its development is contact tip wear, which is essentially the sliding electrical contact quality problem of carbon steel welding wire and chrome-zirconium-copper contact tip.The lower contact pair is in the composite working condition of temperature field, electric field and friction stress field. Therefore, the development of conductive lubricating coating and the in-depth study of its influence on the tribological behavior of steel-chromium-zirconium-copper pair can greatly promote non-copper plating Solving the wear problem of the welding wire contact tip is of great significance to the wide application of copper-free welding wire.In view of the current problem of insufficient current-carrying lubricity of the surface coating of copper-free welding wire, this paper combines ionic liquid with excellent electrical conductivity and basic anti-rust oil to prepare conductive lubricating oil,and its physical and chemical properties are characterized to explore its effect on carbon The effect of steel-chromium-zirconium-copper alloy on tribological properties under temperature field and electric field was analyzed. The interfacial lubrication mechanism of ionic liquid conductive lubricant was analyzed, and the optimized formula was applied to the surface coating of copper-free welding wire. Finally, the comprehensive performance evaluation of the self-made welding wire and the two comparisons was carried out, including rust resistance, contact tip wear and re-arcing.The test results show:In a wide temperature range from room temperature to 500 °C,ionic liquid lubricants can effectively lubricate the low carbon steel-chromium zirconium copper friction pair, and the interface exhibits the best tribological performance at 200 °C;Various compound films formed by the reaction of the liquid and the base metal to synergistically lubricate. After the ionic liquid is added to the base oil as a conductive lubricating additive, the high temperature and current-carrying tribological properties of the oil for low carbon steel-chromium zirconium copper have been improved, and the average friction coefficient and wear amount have decreased by more than 10%;under the temperature field of 100 ℃,the different concentrations of ionic liquid added in the conductive lubricating oil have little effect on its tribological behavior, while under the electric field, the 5wt% ionic liquid conductive lubricating oil has relatively stable and low contact resistance and the lowest friction coefficient, which mainly depends on the electrical contact The interfacial wear mechanism is the combined effect of arc ablation, adhesion and oxidative wear. The ionic liquid conductive lubricating oil with different components was applied to the surface of the copper-free welding wire by mechanical coating method, and then the welding wire and micro-wire coated with the self-made ionic liquid conductive lubricating oil were tested by atmospheric corrosion test,as-welded contact tip wear test and reburning performance test. The alloyed welding wire and copper-coated welding wire were comprehensively evaluated, and it was found that in addition to the copper-coated welding wire, the 5wt% ionic liquid coating welding wire had the best rust resistance, wear resistance and re-arc resistance, and had potential market application value.
