The relationship between man and nature runs through the development of human society.The Industrial Revolution has promoted the development of human society,but behind the prosperity lies various crises,when human beings are complacent about the peak of science and technology,but they do not know that nature’s revenge on human beings is quietly approaching.Climate anomalies threaten human living environment,ecosystem imbalances cause infectious viruses to spread.The depletion of mineral resources and competition lead to wars,etc.which closely related to human life.Looking at the world,from various large-scale plagues in the West in the Middle Ages to SARS,avian influenza,Ebola virus in the new century,to this global new crown pneumonia epidemic,the relationship between man and nature has once again caused deep thought.Domestically,ecological problems have become a bottleneck restricting China’s economic and social development,and the people’s demand for a better life has not yet been satisfied.As a good method to resolve the contradiction between man and nature,Xi Jinping’s concept of community of life has great and far-reaching significance for the construction of China’s ecological civilization and even the promotion of ecological civilization in the world.The formation of any concept is not achieved overnight,and the formation of Xi Jinping’s concept of community of life is no exception.Its formation is rooted in the fertile soil of profound theory and practice,and not only criticizes and inherits the Marxist view of ecological nature,traditional Chinese ecological wisdom,and Chinese-style Marxist ecological civilization thought.Deeply reflecting on the global ecological crisis,China’s ecological problems and the leap forward of major social contradictions,and due to the responsibility of Xi Jinping’s political career,from Liangjiahe in northern Shaanxi to the Central Committee,from the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping’s concept of community of life has experienced three stages: embryonic,formative and mature.Xi Jinping’s concept of community of life is rich in content and distinctive characteristics,including nature is a life community with internal checks and balances,man and nature are harmonious and symbiotic life communities,man and man are the life community with the same fate,and jointly build the earth life community.Its not only includes the thinking on the dialectical relationship between man and nature,the path of ecological governance,and the subjective status of man,but also highlights the four characteristics of man’s dependence on nature,people’s subjectivity,people’s supremacy,and the integrity of overall development.History has repeatedly proved that the road of capitalist ecological governance is not feasible,and only by infiltrating Xi Jinping’s concept of community of life into all aspects and processes of economic and social development can we solve ecological diseases.Specifically,through the cultivation of ecological values,the green transformation of economic development,the improvement of the institutional system of ecological civilization,and the advocacy of multi-subject co-governance,we will promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.It can be seen that Xi Jinping’s concept of community of life has important value significance.In terms of theoretical value,it not only inherits and innovates the Marxist view of ecological nature,rejuvenates China in the new era of traditional ecological wisdom,but also sublimates and improves Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization;In terms of practical value,it not only makes a top-level design for China’s ecological civilization construction,draws a blueprint for the construction of a beautiful China,but also points out the direction for realizing the people’s yearning for a better life;In terms of world value,it not only provides China’s solutions for global ecological governance,but also provides China’s wisdom for international ecological cooperation,and provides China’s path for global ecological construction.
