Since the industrial Revolution,due to human activities,greenhouse gas emissions have increased substantially,and the pace of climate warming has gradually accelerated,caused greater destruction to the global ecological environment.To address climate change,government departments of various countries have carried out fruitful cooperation.As the world’s largest carbon emitter,the Chinese government has pledged to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.Machinery is China’s participation in the global economic development,also reflects the country’s comprehensive strength of the important industry.Its industrial scale accounts for more than 20%of the national industry,involving 10 major categories,52 middle categories and 168 minor categories in the Industrial Classification for National Economic Activities(GB/T4754-2017).Under the background of"carbon peak and carbon neutral",significant to study the machinery industry and its industrial chain to reduce carbon emissions and realize carbon peak and carbon neutral path.In this paper,the greenhouse gas emission of an engine remanufacturing enterprise is calculated as 218.314 t CO2e,the carbon emission per remanufactured engine is 0.118t CO2e and the theoretical peak carbon emission is 203.319 t CO2e.It is predicted to reach carbon peak by 2025.And the study calculated that in the use of rooftop photovoltaic facilities as far as possible,Carbon neutrality can be achieved Within the factory boundary.Due to greenhouse gas emissions by a single enterprise peak and carbon neutral have limitations,according to the industrial product life cycle assessment framework,a research firm by a typical product remanufacturing engine(RP10)as an example,the carbon simple product life cycle model is set up,using CLCD database and e Footprint online analysis software,calculate the carbon emissions of remanufactured engines is.1299 kg CO2eq,and A new casting production engine is 3747kg CO2eq.Remanufacturing carbon efficiency ratio was introduced to evaluate the carbon emission advantage between remanufactured products and original products in the whole life cycle,the calculated carbon efficiency ratio of remanufacturing engine is 0.672.This paper attempts to study the possibility of carbon neutrality in the whole life cycle of remanufacturing engines under certain conditions,and discusses the potential of carbon neutrality in the whole life cycle of products.Eventually through modeling calculation analysis,is studied in enterprises as far as possible use of clean energy,and dismantling of scrap parts,Carbon emissions from remanufactured engines are reduced to 175 kg CO2eq,carbon efficiency ratio for mechanical remanufacturing can increase to levels close to 1.such as requiring suppliers to production use of pig iron castings for recycling scrap metal or take other measures,this value can be further reduced to-33 kg CO2eq,can be fully realized in whole life cycle of remanufacturing product carbon neutral.The carbon neutral path of machinery industry is indicated.Finally,from the aspects of cleaner production,green supply chain management and green fiscal and tax support policies,suggestions are put forward for the green development of the machinery industry,trying to use leading enterprises in the industry to drive supply chain enterprises to achieve green development synchronously and achieve carbon neutrality of the whole society.
