With the continuous expansion of domestic automobile market share,the requirements for the production efficiency and surface quality of die steel punches are getting higher and higher,so the selection of cutting process parameters of die steel punches is even more important,in which the rationality of cutting parameters has a very important impact on the production efficiency and processing quality.In the research of metal cutting,it is found that some micro-textures can effectively reduce friction under specific cutting conditions,thus reducing cutting force and cutting temperature and prolonging tool life.Some micro-texture tools can even improve the chip morphology,thus improving the surface quality of the workpiece.In this paper,through the finite element analysis of tool cutting and the turning test of die steel Cr12MoV,the effects of tool cutting parameters and surface micro-groove texture on cutting force and machined surface quality are studied.The cutting parameters of the best dry turning die steel Cr12MoV semi-finish turning and finish turning were studied,and the cutting performance of PCBN tool was improved by placing micro-groove texture on the rake face of the tool.The research results have a certain guiding role for micro-texture tool cutting die steel.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Determination of cutting parameters of semi-finish turning and finish turningThrough the analysis of cutting force and workpiece surface roughness,the cutting parameters of semi-finish turning and finish turning Cr12MoV are determined.Under the condition of semi-finish turning,the cutting force is small,the metal removal rate is high,and the surface roughness of the machined surface of the workpiece is below 3.2 μm.The surface roughness of the machined surface of the workpiece is low and the surface quality is good under the amount of turning.(2)Design and prepare micro-texture PCBN tool.The influence of micro-groove texture on the stress distribution of PCBN tool was studied by finite element simulation analysis method,and then the edge margin and texture spacing of micro-groove texture were determined.Through the actual laser processing experiment,the laser parameters required for preparing micro-textured PCBN tools were determined,and the micro-textured PCBN tools for research were prepared.(3)Research on cutting performance of micro-texture tool.The effects of micro-texture on cutting force,wear,chip morphology and surface roughness of workpiece were studied by finite element cutting simulation analysis and actual cutting experiment.The results show that reasonable groove micro-texture can reduce cutting force,tool wear,chip self-breaking and surface roughness of machined surface. |
