Rapid forging machine is an important equipment in the forging industry.As the core component,its actuator hydraulic cylinder undertakes the main forging function.The hydraulic cylinder seal assembly realizes good lubrication and sealing functions.Its friction performance directly determines the running speed of the hydraulic cylinder,and then affects the forging frequency of the rapid forging machine.Therefore,the research on the friction and leakage characteristics of the sealing structure provides an important theoretical basis for improving the running speed of the hydraulic cylinder of the rapid forging machine.Taking the sealing ring of hydraulic cylinder of rapid forging machine as the research object,this paper studies and analyzes the lubrication and sealing performance of hydraulic cylinder of rapid forging machine based on theoretical calculation and numerical simulation.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Based on the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory and considering the effect of fluid-solid coupling,the frictional problem of the sealing element in the sealing system is analyzed,and the Reno equation including the Surface roughness and cavitation is established,which is solved by the finite-volume method method,the numerical simulation model of mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication was established by coupling deformation mechanics with contact model and programming with Matlab.The static contact pressure and contact length of the sealing zone were obtained by finite element simulation with simulation software.Based on the results of static analysis and mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication model,the friction and leakage of glay ring and y ring under different installation interference and seal pressure were calculated.Through the numerical calculation of two kinds of sealing rings,the influence of sealing pressure,installation interference,surface roughness and movement speed on the friction force is analyzed.The results show that under the same working conditions,the friction force of the Glyd ring is much smaller than that of the Y-ring.Through system verification,changing the type of the sealing ring can reduce the friction in the sealing area,thereby increasing the forging speed of the rapid forging machine.The research results provide ideas and methods for selecting suitable sealing rings under different working conditions,and it is of great significance to realize the high speed of rapid forging machines.
