| With the development of China’s economy,the utilization of energy is also increasing.As one of the most important energy sources,coal production is also increasing day by day.In the process of coal mining,picks are essential cutting tools that consume a large amount during use.Therefore,the performance of the cutting tool has a significant impact on the entire coal mining process.Based on the bionics theory and referring to the dimple structure on the back deck of the dung beetle and the convex hull structure on the back of the black thick tailed scorpion,this paper designs the dimple type and convex hull type bionic picks,and studies the service performance of the dimple type,convex hull type and ordinary type picks respectively.Use discrete element software EDEM to simulate coal breaking of different types of single pick and extract the three-way force of the pick.In ADAMS,the three-way force is loaded into the cutter-body of the pick in the form of a Step drive function.By analyzing the active torque,rotational resistance torque,and rotational torque,the spin characteristics of the pick are studied.The variation trend of the rotational torque of both ordinary and dimple type picks is first increasing and then decreasing.The rotational torque of convex hull type picks fluctuates up and down,and the maximum rotational torque of dimple type picks is greater than that of the other two types of picks.Therefore,it can be concluded that the spin characteristics of dimple type picks are the best.Assemble different types of picks on the end plate separately,and combine the Archard wear model to study the wear characteristics of picks.It is found that the total wear of dimple picks is the smallest and the wear resistance is the best.By analyzing the wear cloud map of the pick,it was found that the arrangement of the dimple structure on the surface of the picks reduced the length of scratches caused by coal rock action on the surface of the pick,and improved the wear resistance of the pick.Through simulation analysis of the cutting performance of end discs with different types of picks installed,it was found that during the coal breaking process,compared with the end discs with dimple picks and convex picks,the end disc load fluctuation coefficient of dimple picks is smaller,the cutting resistance and cutting energy consumption ratio are lower,and the total coal mining mass is larger.From an economic perspective,the end disc equipped with dimple type pick is better.Finally,a rigid-flexible coupling model of the cutter-holder is established,and ADAMS and EDEM are jointly simulated using the Co-simulation plugin.The dimple type pick with good comprehensive performance is installed on the end plate,and the modal characteristics and forced vibration of the cutter-holder are studied to obtain the frequency response curve and natural frequency.Analyze the vibration characteristics of the cutter-holder by combining the rotation frequency of the cutting motor of the continuous mining machine and the rotation frequency of the end plate itself.The results indicate that the end disc equipped with dimple type pick will not exhibit resonance at the cutter-holder position under normal coal breaking conditions.Under the excitation of coal breaking load,the lateral vibration displacement of the cutter-holder is relatively large,which will affect the stability of the cutter-holder. |
