| Supramolecular polymers,combining traditional covalent polymer science with supramolecular chemistry,have received extraordinary attention from chemists and material scientists during the past decades because of their widespread application in smart materials.The shortcomings of traditional polymers such as not easy modification and harsh synthesis conditions limit the further development of polymer science.Supramolecular polymers designed based on the concept of supramolecular self-assembly expand the application range of traditional polymers and bring new vitality to the development of polymer materials field.Host and guest interaction is an important force for supramolecular assembly based on the recognition of non-covalent molecules between host and guest molecules.As a new type of macrocyclic host molecule with highly symmetrical structure,electron rich cavity,easy modification and strong host and guest recognition ability,pillararenes have become the important host molecules in constructing supramolecular polymers in recent years.Pillar[5]arenes,as the simplest type of pillararenes,are easy to synthesize,stable in conformation and widely used.Based on the host-guest interaction of pillar[5]arene,we conducted research to prepare supramolecular polymers.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the basic concepts of supramolecular chemistry and supramolecular polymers,summarizes the classification of supramolecular polymers and the recent progress in the application of supramolecular polymers based on pillar[5]arene.And further introduces the topic selection basis and the main research content of this paper.In the second chapter,supramolecular aggregates constructed by pillar[5]arene-based host-guest interaction with aggregation-induced emission.In this part,an AB pillar[5]arene bridging monomer was designed and synthesized.The two sides of the AB pillar[5]arene were modified with tetraphenylethylene(TPE)and nitrile functional groups respectively.Because of the strong binding force between the pillar[5]arene and nitrile group and the aggregation effect of TPE structure,the functionalized pillar[5]arene can self-assemble into supramolecular polymer and further aggregation into spherical structure.The work of supramolecular polymers with AIE effect constructed by host-guest interaction provides a new strategy for the design of intelligent response materials,which could be applied to fluorescence devices and biological imaging fileds.In the third chapter,the dynamic gel supramolecular polymers were constructed by thioctic acid-functionalized pillar[5]arenes.In this part,a polymer monomer was modified with disulfide five-membered ring and pillar[5]arene respectively.We intend to combine dynamic disulfide bonds with host-guest interactions to design dynamic supramolecular polymers,which not only have the properties of dynamic covalent bonds,but also have the stimuli-responsive of supramolecular polymers.The polymer monomers and the thioctic acid ester compounds were mixed in a ratio of 1:1,then heated and then illuminated to prepare the polymer.And the backbone of the polymers were disulfide bond covalent bonds and the side chains were large pillar[5]arenes.Then,the polymers were dissolved in the solution,and the long chain monomer with bilateral nitrile group functional was added to it.The network supramolecular polymer was constructed by the host-guest interaction between pillar[5]arene and nitrile group,and its stimulus response and its stimuli-responsive material properties were characterized. |
