The steel industry is one of China’s pillar industries and the cornerstone for maintaining economic development.Hot rolling is an important link in steel production,and the heating furnace,as the connecting part between hot rolling and continuous casting,is crucial.In actual production,the heating furnace is a high-energy consuming process.It is a complex process with multivariable,time-varying,nonlinear and other characteristics,and its operation and scheduling level will determine product quality,output,and energy consumption indicators.This article mainly studies the optimization problem of heating furnace group scheduling in hot rolling production.Based on reading and analyzing relevant literature at home and abroad,the following work has been carried out for the optimization scheduling of heating furnace groups:(1)Analyze the main characteristics of the production process of the heating furnace group and the problems encountered in actual production.Based on the actual production data of a certain steel enterprise,explore the main reasons for the excessive dwell time of the slab in production.It is found that the matching problem between rolling efficiency and heating furnace efficiency,as well as the mixing of cold and hot slabs,are the main reasons for the excessive dwell time of the slab in actual production,At the same time,it was also found that the matching problem of the entry and exit rate between the front and rear rolling processes can also affect the residence time of the slab in the furnace.(2)The multi-agent simulation software is used to build the multi-agent simulation model.In order to better simulate the heating furnace group in actual production,this paper builds multiple individual agents and integrates them into a Multi-agent system.Using the actual production data of a certain steel enterprise to improve and test the model,a simulation model that can reproduce the actual production situation is obtained.The average error between the model and the actual production data does not exceed 1 minute,and the maximum error does not exceed 4 minutes,which has high credibility.(3)Develop a reasonable optimization scheduling plan based on the main reason for the long dwell time of the slab analyzed earlier.Establish a simulation model of the heating furnace group through multi-agent simulation to explore possible solutions,and focus on discussing dedicated furnace plans to reduce the dwell time of the slab in the heating furnace,as close as possible to the set minimum dwell time,reduce the gas consumption of the heating furnace and the oxidation and burning loss of the slab,and achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase The purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction.Finally,three optimization directions were proposed for the optimization and scheduling of heating furnace groups.The three different schemes can reduce the average dwell time of slabs in the actual rolling process by 20 to 40 minutes,and the effect is very obvious.Then analyze the advantages and disadvantages of these three schemes,focusing on exploring the feasibility of each optimization scheme.Based on the existing production situation of a certain steel enterprise,analyze the applicable scenarios and prerequisites for each optimization scheme.
