FFunctional textiles refer to textile materials that exceed the shape and strength of general products and have special properties such as color change,insulation,and antibacterial properties.Among them,reversible thermochromic fibers are currently a widely used functional fiber.Among many polymer matrices,polypropylene has relatively low melting processing temperature and chemical stability,which can better load the thermochromic functional medium,so it becomes the preferred polymer matrix for preparing thermochromic fibers.Therefore,this paper intends to prepare polypropylene based reversible thermochromic functional fibers.In this paper,crystal violet lactone,bisphenol A,octadecyl acrylate and metal complex dyes were used as color changing functional media to prepare a series of composites with reversible thermochromism.The composites have good color changing performance,thermal stability and chemical stability at the same time;Then,the composite masterbatch material was obtained by physical blending with polypropylene matrix,and the rheological properties of the composite masterbatch material were studied.Its spinnability was evaluated,proving that the material can be processed by melt spinning;Finally,the reversible thermochromic fiber was prepared by melt spinning,and the reversible thermochromic fiber with a color change temperature of 33.6 o C was finally obtained.The fiber can realize the color transformation from blue-green to yellow,and from blue to colorless,and has good thermal stability and chemical stability.
