With the improvement of living standard,people pay more and more attention to health,COVID-19 began in early 2020 further reinforced the demand for fitness.However,most of the current community fitness equipment mainly through the appearance of the shape and traditional mechanical structure to provide people with basic exercise function,lack of consideration of people’s emotional and recreational needs in the fitness process.Community public intelligent fitness equipment is the introduction of intelligent product hardware based on traditional fitness equipment in the community,combining big data technology,interactive technology and game design methods to serve users’ fitness activities,providing users with a social,competitive,challenging and entertaining fitness experience.It has the advantages of measuring exercise data,having multiple information feedback methods of sound and light,and providing exercise prescription,etc,however,the current community public intelligent fitness equipment that has been put into use still has disadvantages such as poor hardware man-machine experience,insufficient software interactivity,low user viscosity,inadequate data utilization,and incomplete business model structure,which affects the user’s experience and motivation to use.This thesis takes community smart fitness bicycle as an example,and proposes a gamification design solution for community public smart fitness equipment by improving the appearance design and human-machine characteristics of the product,structuring gamified fitness content,improving interaction experience and building a new business model,and identifying problems from the game design perspective.The details are as follows:(1)Systematic study of game related theories through literature research and case studies,analysis of game components and the relationship between each element,exploration of the application of gamification thinking methods,and deeper exploration of game content and game mechanics with the aim of promoting users to generate "mind flow".(2)Through user research and market survey,analyze users’ fitness behavior with the help of user journey map,explore the "missing points" of user experience in the fitness process and the reasons for their formation,summarize users’ needs in terms of fitness content,interaction and human-computer experience,and propose gamification design strategies.(3)With gamification thinking,we classify users according to the depth of product usage,and use game design thinking to structure gamified fitness content for design practices to create safe,fun and interactive rich fitness content for users.(4)Use the service design method to build the service mode of "intelligent fitness hardware+ APP",providing users with data feedback,online social networking,online shopping mall and other series of services to improve user stickiness.This thesis discusses the innovative design direction and design method of the community public intelligent fitness equipment,the innovation point is to reduce the influence of the environment on the human-computer interaction mode,combine the game with fitness content and provide users with a variety of fitness scenarios to improve user stickiness;subsequently,we will continue to optimize the product hardware,software and service content,and finally create an intelligent sports scene with natural human-computer interaction and diverse service content for users.
