Study On The Embodiment Of Vegetation Dyeing Technology In Visual Design Of Children’s Fabric Products

Plant dyeing,as a traditional handicraft that emerged as early as the Neolithic Age,has always been of great significance to people’s production and life.It was once the only dye that humans could use to color textiles.However,with the industrialization of textile production,natural dyes have gradually been forgotten.Nowadays,with the development of social economy,synthetic dyes have problems such as environmental pollution,carcinogen,etc.,which endanger people’s health.Natural dyes have once again aroused the interest of environmentally conscious consumers,and people have re emphasized and pursued traditional natural grass and wood dyeing products that are healthy,environmentally friendly,and pure natural.With the improvement of people’s overall quality of life,parents’ expenditure on children’s health and safety has accounted for a large proportion of household consumption,and many parents are willing to choose to purchase more green and safe children’s products through overpayment.Green and healthy products are increasingly entering children’s lives,and product safety has become an important factor in determining young parents’ choice of products.The grass and wood dyeing process products in China have just started,and blue dyeing accounts for half of the grass and wood dyeing market.There is a relatively lack of development and utilization of dyeing materials.And currently,most of the grass and wood dyed fabric products targeting children on the market are limited to fabric toys,with varying quality.From the perspective of children,products that truly cater to their true needs and psychological and physiological characteristics are rare.When we are designing products,it is a question worth pondering how to develop more dyeing materials and systematically apply them to children’s fabric products.This article conducts theoretical research and design practice by consulting relevant literature and conducting market research,focusing on the visual embodiment of vegetation dyeing technology in children’s fabric products.Firstly,by reading and researching relevant literature,the concept and development process of traditional Chinese plant dyeing are elaborated,and the theoretical and applied research of plant dyeing is discussed and analyzed;Secondly,by investigating and researching the current situation of grass and wood dyeing,the difficulties of grass and wood dyeing products are analyzed,and the development prospects of grass and wood dyeing for children’s fabric products are proposed;Then,based on the physiological and psychological needs of children,identify the target users,and explore the market demand for children’s fabric products through questionnaire survey analysis;The production of children’s fabric products dyed with grass and wood was carried out through experiments on extracting color from plants and designing positioning.Finally,experimental analysis and summary were conducted.The paper inherits and innovates the traditional handicrafts of plant dyeing with new perspectives and methods,providing reference for the revival of other traditional handicrafts.
