Glass fiber has excellent performance such as non-combustion,high temperature resistance,light gravity,stable size,and low hygroscopic absorption.Because of its excellent characteristics,it has been widely used in many fields.Wetter is indispensable in the glass fiber drawing process,which plays the role of yarn protection,lubrication,bunching and so on.The starchy infiltration agent has the advantages of good adhesion,extensive raw materials,green non-toxic,renewable,simple preparation technology,and easy removal.It has a wide range of application prospects in the future development.In this experiment,five kinds of high amylose corn starch at home and abroad were selected as raw materials,the physical and chemical properties of the raw starch were measured,the gelatinization was carried out and the compound was carried out,and the performance of its used in glass fiber infiltrating agent was studied.Using universal testing machine,surface tensiometer,contact angle analyzer,particle size analyzer,scanning electronic microscope and other methods to test its starch film performance,surface tension,contact angle,particle size,and its performance after infiltration of glass fiber yarn in all aspects influence,analyze the performance differences between domestic and foreign starch formula agents.The five starch straight chain content was determined by the dual-wave length ratio method.The values of NF-G170,NF-G270,NF-G370,NF-CG150,and NF-CG250 were68.27%,72.99%,70.67%,53.66%,54.68%,and 54.68%,respectively.The surface of imported starch granules is relatively smooth,mostly oval and round.Domestic starch granules are easier to agglomerate,the surface is less smooth,and the granules are irregular like long strips.With the increase of the amylose content,the starch granules are smaller and more irregular,and the starch agglomeration phenomenon is more serious.All the five kinds of starches are B-type crystals.With the increase of amylose content,the crystallinity,molecular weight and enthalpy change of starches at home and abroad gradually decrease,and the peak temperature shows an increasing trend,indicating that the higher the amylose content,the more difficult gelatinization.The optimal gelatinization conditions were as follows: starch 2.0 g,Na OH 0.9 g,glycerol 0.6 g,gelatinization at 90 ℃ for 1 h.Comparing the performance of starch film,the stretching strength of the domestic starch is lower than that of imports,and the toughness of domestic starch is better than imported.With the increase of the straight chain content,the stretch strength and toughness of the starch film have increased.The degree of binding and glycerin is relatively worse than imported starch and glycerin,so that there are small particles on the surface of the starch membrane.The higher the straight-chain content,the better the degree of binding with glycerin.The weaker the degree of pasteness and the degree of oxidation of Na OH,the more stable the starch structure is,and the more difficult it is to pass on.Overall comparison shows that NF-G170 has the best film forming properties,with the best mechanical properties,tensile strength of 3.769 MPa,elongation at break of 51.10%,and good combination with glycerol.Optimum conditions were selected: Starch 2 g,Glycerin 0.6 g,N,N’-Methylenebis-acrylamide 0.8 g,Gibutyltin dilaurate 0.05 g,Polysorbate 0.05 g,Polyethylene glycol 0.1g,gelatinization at 90 ℃ for 1 h to prepare the infiltrating agent.The surface tension of the domestic starch NF-CG150 is 30.194 m N/m,which was closest to 30 m N/m.As the straight-chain content increases,the surface tension is decreasing.The change of contact Angle is consistent with the change of surface tension,and the contact Angle of NF-G270 is the smallest,which is 18.54°.The grain size of imported starch is smaller than that of domestic starch,and the smallest size of NF-G170 is 2.481 μm.With the increase of linear content,the grain size of infiltrating agent gradually decreases,which is consistent with the change of starch particle size.The simulation drawing experiment of glass fiber shows that the surface of glass fiber yarns without wetting agent is smooth and the bunching property is poor.The bunching property of imported starch wetted yarns is better than that of domestic yarns,and the surface flocculants are less.The best bunching property is NF-G170,with the increase of straight chain content,the bunching property of glass fiber is better,but the surface flocculants are more.The best content of NF-CG150 was 11.82%,which was consistent with the surface tension data,but its bunching property was poor,and the content of the infiltrator gradually decreased with the increase of the linear content.By comparing several properties,it can be concluded that NF-G170 of imported starch has the best performance and the best bunching property,while NF-G370 of domestic starch has the best performance and the best bunching property.
