enterprises as the main body,create a large number of innovative leading enterprises,and enhance the overall innovation strength.Compared with the target,China’s innovative enterprises still face problems such as insufficient quantity,uneven industrial distribution,weak innovation ability,and insufficient international competitiveness.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should promote the strengthening,optimization,and expansion of stateowned capital and state-owned enterprises,and enhance their core competitiveness.We need to strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in technological innovation,give full play to the leading and supporting role of technology-based backbone enterprises,create a favorable environment for the growth of technology-based small and micro enterprises,and promote the deep integration of the innovation chain,industry chain,capital chain,talent chain.At present and in the future,the country will actively support the development and growth of innovative enterprises,accelerate the cultivation of a group of leading enterprises with core technologies,independent intellectual property rights,and international competitiveness.As a key national support object,high-tech enterprises should play a better role in leading high-quality development and playing a leading role in economic transformation.How enterprises can achieve sustained competitive advantage in a dynamically changing environment has always been a key core topic of high concern and research among scholars and entrepreneurs.In the VUCA era where instability,uncertainty,complexity and ambiguity have become the norm,we are facing "the biggest change in the world in a century" : the international landscape is undergoing profound adjustment,the global governance system is undergoing profound change,trade barriers and global value chain transformation are constantly strengthening,new technologies are constantly iterative,disruptive innovations emerge in endlessly,and the COVID-19 is raging around the world...The environment is becoming more complex,changeable and unpredictable,For any enterprise involved,it is full of opportunities and challenges,and it is necessary to strive to obtain and maintain a competitive advantage in market competition in order to extend its survival time.So,more and more scholars are paying attention to dynamic capabilities,attempting to find ways for enterprises to cope with the impact of turbulent environments and gain and maintain competitive advantages from dynamic capabilities.The case company L selected in this article is a national high-tech enterprise and a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Plan.From the brink of bankruptcy in the seed stage,the company has been developing into a leading listed enterprise in a segmented field.In recent years,in the face of market turbulence,global economic downturn,and increased uncertainty in the epidemic and other external environments,the company has not only continued the strong momentum of rapid development,but also achieved rapid growth against the trend.This has typical reference significance for the development of innovative enterprises and the acquisition of sustained competitive advantages.Therefore,this study is rooted in the dynamic environment,especially the realistic situation of constructing competitive advantages for high-tech enterprises in the VUCA era.Based on the perspective of dynamic capabilities and co performance strategies,taking L Company,a high-tech enterprise in the pesticide field,as the case study object,based on extracting the dynamic capabilities of the company at different development stages,the evolution process and internal evolution logic of the competitive advantages of the enterprise at different development stages are explored.Research findings:(1)As a typical representative of high-tech enterprises,L Company has always firmly grasped the core competitiveness and competitive advantage of technological innovation,laying a solid foundation for its long-term development;However,in a complex and everchanging market environment,having core technological advantages alone is not enough.It is necessary to adapt to other dynamic core capabilities required at the same stage of development.The resources and core competitiveness that are valuable,scarcity,irreplaceable and difficult to imitate are the source of the competitive advantage of an enterprise,Promote enterprises to achieve "success,growth,strength,and growth".(2)Through research and analysis,this article constructs the internal logic and path for the evolution of competitive advantages in the lifecycle stage of high-tech enterprises,based on the inherent attributes of high-tech enterprises-technological innovation capabilities-technological advantages: entrepreneurial stage-lean user power model-user value creation ability-user advantages;Growth stage-Specialized product capability model-Product R&D innovation ability-Product advantages;Maturity stage-Gain market power model-Market resource allocation ability-Market advantage;The transformation stage-organizational strength model-organizational learning and change ability-organizational advantages,and the advantages of the four development stages show a constantly increasing and leaping relationship.It is helpful to enrich the theory of enterprise growth and dynamic capability,and can provide some reference and enlightenment for corporate identity at different stages of development to identify,cultivate,adjust and improve their dynamic capabilities,so as to obtain sustainable competitive advantage. |
