| Spodumene is an important mineral for extracting lithium. It mainly occurs in granite pegmatite ore with gangue minerals are generally quartz and feldspar.Flotation with fatty acid or amine collectors is the most commonly used method for spodumene beneficiation. However,in recent years, most of the exploitable spodumene ores are"poor fine and miscellaneous"ores. At the same time, the surface is affected by weathering pollution and slime. It is difficult to achieve the ideal separation effect by using a traditional single collector, which restricts the development and utilization of lithium resources in China. Therefore,a mixed collector GMY was selected, and the enhanced flotation and mechanism of mixed collector on spodumene were studied through single mineral flotation test, potentiodynamic analysis, infrared spectrum analysis, adsorption capacity test and actual ore verification test.Compared with Na OL,GMY has stronger collection ability and selectivity for spodumene. At the same time, the interaction between the two collectors and single minerals is activated by calcium chloride and inhibited by sodium carbonate, but the effect of regulator on GMY is more obvious.Under the condition of appropriate dosage of regulator, using GMY as collector can realize the efficient separation of spodumene from quartz and feldspar.Infrared spectrum analysis showed that Na OL and GMY had both physical adsorption and chemical adsorption on the surface of spodumene and feldspar, while only physical adsorption occurred on the surface of quartz.Potentiodynamic analysis and adsorption capacity test showed that the adsorption capacity of Na OL and GMY on spodumene surface was stronger than that on quartz and feldspar surface, and GMY was easier to adsorb on spodumene surface than Na OL.For a spodumene ore containing 1.65%Li2O,a spodumene concentrate with Li2O grade of 5.18%and recovery of 76.60%can be obtained by using mixed collector gmy and through the closed-circuit flotation process of"one roughing, two sweeping and three refining". |
