| Basalt continuous fiber(CBF)is a kind of high performance inorganic fiber made from basalt molten at high temperature and drawn by leakage plate,which has the advantages of outstanding mechanical properties,corrosion resistance,high and low temperature resistance,etc.However,the smooth surface,few reactive groups and dark brown color of CBF make it difficult to carry out surface modification and dyeing treatment,which greatly limits its application fields.Therefore,in this paper,a waterbased polyurethane(WPU)film-forming agent was firstly designed according to the properties of basalt fibers themselves,and then supplemented with lubricants,antistatic agents and other additives to prepare an impregnating agent(SA)suitable for basalt fibers.And by modifying polyvinylamine(PVAm)and combining with fluorescent dyes,an infiltrant(PKBA)for basalt fiber fabric dyeing was prepared,and finally a new cell phone case was designed using dyed basalt fiber fabric as reinforcement material.WPU was synthesized as the main film-forming agent in continuous basalt fiber SA using isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI)and polyether diol(polyethylene glycol,polytetrahydrofuran,etc.)as the main raw materials and N-methyldiethanolamine(MDEA)as the hydrophilic chain extender.The changes of functional groups,mechanical properties and microscopic morphology of continuous basalt fibers before and after SA treatment were characterized by using infrared spectrometer,universal material testing machine,scanning electron microscope,etc.The effects of MDEA addition on the properties of WPU and continuous basalt fibers,and the corrosion resistance of continuous basalt fibers to acid(0.5 mol/L HCl)and alkali(1.0 mol/L Na OH)before and after SA treatment were mainly investigated.The results showed that when the addition of MDEA was 6.0%,the WPU had uniform particle size distribution,better storage stability and outstanding heat resistance stability,and the continuous basalt fibers treated with this infiltrant had 75% higher breaking strength,substantially higher elongation at break,and significantly enhanced acid and alkali corrosion resistance compared with the original fibers.To address the problem of basalt fiber dyeing difficulties,this paper first prepared PVAm by degrading polypropylene amide through Hofinann,then modified it with silane coupling agent KH560,combined with the dye fluorescent rosé b(PB),then added coupling agent,lubricant,etc.,to develop an infiltrant(PKBA)for basalt fiber fabric dyeing.The storage safety stability,thermodynamic stability,and UV absorption peak changes of PKBA were characterized by centrifuge,thermal stability analyzer,and UV spectrometer;the functional group changes,surface morphology changes,and color fastness of basalt fiber fabrics after PKBA dyeing were characterized by infrared spectrometer,scanning electron microscope,and color fastness tester.When the basalt fiber fabric was dyed with this infiltrant,it was found that there were some factors affecting the dyeing rate of the fiber,mainly the dyeing time,p H of the dye bath,the amount of dye PB added,and the dyeing temperature.When single experimental factor experiments were conducted,it was found that the amount of dye PB addition had a greater effect on the dyeing rate of the fiber fabric.The results showed that when the addition amount of PB was 0.3-0.4 g,the PKBA dyeing solution had bright and uniform color and good heat resistance stability,and the basalt fiber fabric dyed with PKBA did not have mutual cross-linking between the fibers and good dispersion,and the fiber structure could still be seen clearly,and the dyeing rate reached about 80%,and all kinds of color fastness reached grade 4-5,and the color was uniform and met the requirements of use.The un-dyed,epoxy resin dyed and PKBA dyed basalt fibers as well as glass fibers and carbon fibers are used as the reinforcement layer materials respectively,high thermal conductivity molding agent is applied,pressed and molded by a flat press,vacuum cured,and then trimmed and treated by laser cutting machine,and finally the surface is treated by elastic paint and top coat to prepare a cell phone case,and a set of processes suitable for producing fiber reinforced cell phone cases is developed.RCA paper tape tribometer,alcohol tribometer,rubber tribometer,3M tape and universal material testing machine were used to characterize the properties of the cell phone case such as drop resistance,abrasion resistance,peel strength,adhesion and the effect of the case on the cell phone signal,respectively.The results show that the PKBA dyed fiber reinforced cell phone case does not shield the cell phone signal,the peel strength reaches 42.5 k N/m,the abrasion resistance of RCA paper tape is about 45 turns,the rubber friction is about 40 times,the drop resistance and adhesion test are qualified,and all meet the test requirements.Therefore,the research content of this paper provides new optional materials for surface modification of basalt fibers and,at the same time,provides a new direction for dyeing and application of basalt fiber fabrics. |
