| At present,the free-form parts have been widely used in aerospace,automotive,marine and other fields,where the blade parts are a typical free-form parts,and affect the blade can work properly an important finishing process is grinding and polishing.Therefore,in order to adapt to the grinding and polishing process of many kinds of blades,this paper develops an adaptive grinding and polishing tool system that can process many kinds of free-form parts,and conducts experimental verification with blade parts.Firstly,the operation flow of the adaptive grinding and polishing tool system is studied.With the help of 3D software,the large surface to be machined on the blank or semi-finished product is divided into several small hexagonal surfaces,and for each small hexagonal surface,the die surface is fitted by adjusting the expansion length of several units,and the abrasive belt polishes the small surface to be machined under the support of the die surface,so that the surface of the workpiece to be polished is passively adapted to the tool surface.The development of the adaptive grinding and polishing machine and tooling system mainly includes three parts,namely,the three-axis machine module,the grinding and polishing tooling system and the multi-point forming tool head,and this paper has completed the machining and physical assembly of the three parts.In the hardware selection of the three modules of the adaptive grinding and polishing machine and tool system,the IMAC control card,three motor drivers,IPC,CNC panel and handwheel are selected for the three-axis machine module;the grinding and polishing motor and RS485 communication control board are selected for the grinding and polishing tool system module;37 miniature linear servo motors and USB to serial control board are selected for the multi-point forming tool head.We also completed the electrical connection and communication debugging within and between all modules,and designed the control flow of the adaptive grinding and polishing tool system.The software design of the three modules of the adaptive grinding and polishing machine and tool system was completed with the help of Qt and MFC.In the three-axis machine module,the software development of the CNC upper computer was completed,which can control the three-axis machine manually and automatically,and display the machine status information in real time.The software design of the lower machine CNC panel and the software development of the lower machine handwheel were completed.In the grinding and polishing tool system module and multi-point forming tool head,the control software design of the two modules was completed according to the communication protocols of the two motors.Finally,the blade adaptive grinding and polishing experiments were carried out.The blade parts were selected,the model of the abrasive belt grinding workpiece surface was established,the extraction of the surface to be machined was completed,and the surface data were converted to triangular mesh form by matlab,which was easier to solve numerically.The surface roughness and surface topography of the different surfaces were improved by the comparison values before and after the measurement. |
