Research On The Construction Of Green Lifestyle From The Perspective Of A Better Life

In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping once again clarified that the main contradiction in China’s society is the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and insufficient development,and proposed that we should closely focus on this major contradiction in society to promote various work and constantly enrich and develop new forms of human civilisation."A good life",as a key aspect of the main social contradictions,has rich and diverse connotations and develops dynamically with changes in social conditions.From the ecological perspective,as a living natural existence,human beings can never exist without the natural environment.The satisfaction of ecological needs is an important condition to realize the people’s yearning for a better life.The construction of a green lifestyle is the key proposition of Chinese path to modernization to improve the relationship between human beings and the natural ecology,protect people’s ecological rights,and accelerate the harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature.However,at present,we still face some difficulties in the process of building a green lifestyle,which puts forward new era requirements for the further improvement of the construction of a green lifestyle.Based on a review of domestic and foreign research on the construction of a good life,a green lifestyle,and a green lifestyle from the perspective of a good life,this article explains the ideological origin,era connotation,and basic characteristics of a good life,as well as the theoretical origin,era connotation,and practical significance of a green lifestyle.It analyzes the inherent compatibility between the construction of a good life and a green lifestyle in terms of generation,evolution,value orientation,and practical direction;It also reveals the inherent logic of the construction of a good life and a green lifestyle from three perspectives: the epistemology of a good life,the values of a good life,and the practice of a good life.Based on the latest data released by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China,this paper comprehensively analyzes the current situation of green lifestyle construction in China,summarizes the achievements achieved in the current green lifestyle construction in China,reveals the existing problems in the current green lifestyle construction in China,and deeply explores the reasons for the existing problems.Currently,the reasons for the ineffective promotion of the construction of green lifestyles in China mainly include four aspects: the cost of green production technology needs to be reduced,the practice of green consumption behavior needs to be standardized,the value concept of green life needs to be strengthened,and the system of green life needs to be coordinated.Finally,based on the current problems and reasons in the construction of green lifestyles in China,this paper proposes effective ways to construct green lifestyles from the perspective of a better life,mainly including regulating capital logic and promoting green production;Eliminate consumption alienation and adhere to green consumption;Promote ecological awareness and cultivate green culture;Cultivate ecological morality and cultivate green feelings;Strengthen awareness of hardship,ensure ecological security,advocate beauty and harmony,and pursue the beauty of green.
