The minerals in the weathering zone are easy to be slimed,so the flotation process is generally selected for treatment.However,due to the characteristics of easy sliming,the flotation foam layer is always mixed with high ash fine mud,and the flotation underflow will lose some low ash coarse particles,resulting in a certain waste of resources.In this paper,new flotation reagents and flotation technology are used to improve the flotation effect and flotation recovery of chalcopyrite in Vietnam weathering zone.The research results provide important theoretical guidance for determining suitable flotation reagent system and flotation process for weathered zone minerals.The copper grade of chalcopyrite in Laojie weathering zone of Vietnam is 0.62%,and the particle size is(0.1-0.5)mm.Because the mine is easy to be slimed,it is difficult to recover it efficiently by using traditional flotation reagents.This study proposes to improve the copper ore flotation recovery effect by changing the content,type and process of flotation reagents.The test results are evaluated according to the concentrate grade after separation and the actual recovery rate.The content of-200 mesh fine particles reaches 88.69% after 15 minutes of grinding,basically meeting the flotation feed size.Through the multi factor optimization flotation test item by item,the grade of flotation copper concentrate and the actual recovery rate were significantly improved,and the optimal flotation reagent system was determined by changing the content and type of flotation reagents.The optimal flotation reagent system is that when the feed slurry concentration is 250g/L,the content of added inhibitor Ca O is 3000g/t,the content of xanthate80 and AP2 added is 27 g/t,the content of foaming agent BK201 added is 80g/t,the content of added sulfide mineral is 1000g/t,the content of hydroxamic acid is 200g/t.In order to further improve the grade and recovery of copper concentrate,the first,second and third concentration process tests were carried out on the basis of the optimal flotation dosing system obtained from the multi factor optimization test item by item.With the increase of cleaning process times,the grade of copper concentrate is gradually increased from 10.15% to20.52%,and the recovery rate is increased from 62.54% to 86.85%.At the same time,high grade middlings are produced after multiple cleaning open-loop tests.In order to improve the recovery rate of concentrate,the closed circuit flotation test of three times of cleaning and one time of scavenging is carried out for copper ores without changing the above optimal flotation reagent content.According to the results of closed circuit flotation,the grade of copper concentrate actually recovered has reached 20.12%,and the recovery rate has reached 88.92%.The above test results fully verify that the flotation reagent system proposed in this study is appropriate,and it also shows that the separation process of chalcopyrite is suitable for three times of concentration+one time of scavenging.The flotation test of copper ores has verified that copper ores in this area have high utilization potential and can produce high grade copper concentrates,providing theoretical guidance and practical value for further tests. |
