Abstract/Summary:
Wind power is a very important renewable energy, which has attracted the high attention of the world’s major energy consumption countries. At the same time, the market scale of wind power is also developing at a stable and rapid speed. The development trend of wind power gradually becoming a mainstream energy is becoming increasingly clear. After wind power has entered the "parity" stage of large-scale and rapid development, the price war advantage of China’s wind power enterprises is becoming more and more obvious. With the implementation of the national "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan","Carbon Peak","Carbon Neutralization" and other strategies, wind power generation will usher in a new era of development. With China’s support for the wind power industry and the continuous development of the carbon emissions trading market, more and more companies invest in wind power projects, which requires more accurate and reasonable evaluation of the value of wind power projects. In response to this situation, this article starts from the research on the value evaluation of wind power projects.Firstly,it conducts a deep exploration of the current situation of the wind power industry, the characteristics and evaluation difficulties of wind power projects, thereby comprehensively understanding the value composition and influencing factors of wind power projects. Then it analyzes the defects of the three existing traditional project value assessment methods in wind power assessment.Because they can not reflect the intrinsic value of carbon emission rights, the value of wind power projects is underestimated. Then the shadow price method is introduced to introduce its principle and valuation model, and the feasibility of its assessment of the value of carbon emission rights of wind power projects is analyzed. The value of carbon emission rights of wind power projects is mainly taken as a potential value source to tap its profitability. Then based on the analysis of the value composition of wind power projects, the value of wind power projects is divided into two parts: the value of power generation income and the value of carbon emission rights. The modified discounted cash flow model is used to evaluate the value of power generation income, and the shadow price method is introduced to evaluate the value of carbon emission rights using the transcendental logarithmic production function model in the shadow price method.A new model suitable for wind power projects is constructed by combining the two parts, and the selection of the main parameters involved in the model is studied, which makes the theoretical model more operable. Finally, taking Datang Shanxi wind power project as an example, the evaluation model built is applied to this project, and its evaluation results are evaluated, which verifies the rationality of the evaluation idea of improving the discounted cash flow model based on the shadow price method, and makes the evaluation of wind power projects more scientific and comprehensive. This paper combines the modified discounted cash flow model with the shadow price method to evaluate the value of wind power projects. The evaluation results can clearly reflect the factors affecting their value, with a view to guiding managers to make reasonable decisions and avoiding certain risks for the development of the company. And a reasonable and scientific valuation method for carbon emission rights can provide important reference for setting the transaction prices of the national carbon emission rights market, and is also of great significance for China to achieve the "dual carbon" goal as soon as possible.
