Paste filling technology is the key measure of "green mining" in national mine economic construction.Paste dense dehydration process is the first step of paste filling technology.In this paper,the mining tailings deep cone thickening process is taken as the research support,and the settlement behavior law of the whole tailings flocs is taken as the research object.The flocculation and settlement law of the whole tailings flocculation was discussed.By means of physical experiment and theoretical analysis,the size change and settlement law of the total tailings flocs under different initial turbulence intensity and shear action are expounded,and the theory of deep cone dense foundation is extended.Major research work completed includes:(1)In order to explore the law of dense settlement of tailings,an experiment was carried out to optimize the static settlement condition of tailings.Based on the research background of the tailings from xianglushan tungsten mine in jiangxi province,the effects of slurry concentration,flocculant per unit consumption,flocculant solution concentration and flocculant type on the total tailings were analyzed.The experimental results show that the optimal parameters are: the total tailings slurry concentration is10%,the flocculant type is 18 million anion type,the flocculant solution is 0.2%,and the flocculant consumption is 30 g/t.(2)The size change and flocculation settlement of tailings under different initial turbulence intensities were studied.Backfilling materials all floccules was determined by the software Matlab velocity field under different initial turbulence intensity characteristics,using Image J software of floccules binary analysis,determines the whole backfilling floccules vary with the size of the initial turbulence intensity,when the slurry initial turbulence intensity was 25.99%,the maximum size of floccules 6.21 mm,the floccules sedimentation velocity of 5.284 cm/s.(3)The flocculation and settlement rule of the tailings flocculation at different shear strength was studied.The effects of shear action on the internal structure of floc and its settling effect were analyzed,and the optimal shear strength affecting the settling of total tailings floc was determined.When the rake frame rotates at 0.4 RPM,the settling effect is better.The average settling speed of the flocculate size of 1.02 mm is 5.32 cm/s,which is 4.12 cm/s higher than when the rake frame does not rotate.(4)The COMSOL Multiphysics software was used to simulate the flocs settlement under different shear actions,and the turbulent kinetic energy change characteristics of the flocs and its settlement law were analyzed,and the influence of shear action on the whole tailings flocs was verified.Based on the field practice parameters and the similarity principle,the optimal pipeline feeding speed and slurry conveying device modification of the field industrial thickener were determined.
