Wetland ecosystems have important ecological service functions and economic values.Their ecological safety is not only related to the function and healthy development of wetlands themselves,but also has an important impact on the construction of regional ecological safety patterns.This paper focuses on the evaluation of wetland ecological security,its spatial association and its driving mechanisms and control strategies.This study takes the wetlands in Wujiang District,a typical southern Jiangsu water network region,as an example.Taking 2012,2016 and 2020 as three time cross-sections,and based on the analysis of landuse changes in Wujiang District in the past eight years,this study combines the DPSIRM model to construct a wetland ecological security evaluation index system,and uses the grid as the evaluation unit to calculate and analyse the spatial divergence and dynamic change characteristics of the comprehensive wetland ecological security index in Wujiang District The spatial autocorrelation analysis was used to explore the spatial correlation characteristics of the wetland ecological safety index in Wujiang District,and the core factors affecting the ecological safety of wetlands in Wujiang District were identified by combining with the geographic detector model.The results of the study aim to better understand the current characteristics and influencing factors of the ecological safety of wetlands in Wujiang District,and propose targeted suggestions for the improvement of the wetland environment in Wujiang District,with the following main research results.(1)From 2012 to 2020,the total watershed area in Wujiang District remains stable,with a significant decrease in the area of arable land and forest land and a significant increase in the area of construction land.In terms of water transfer,it mainly comes from arable land and construction land,while the transfer out mainly contributes to the arable land land type.The intensity of water transfer: the intensity of transfer out is more general compared to other land types,with the main transfer out types being construction land and cropland;the intensity of transfer in is more significant from cropland and construction land.(2)The overall wetland ecological safety index of Wujiang District in 2012,2016 and 2020 is 0.3944,0.4552 and 0.5164 respectively,evolving from low and medium safety levels to higher safety levels in general.The areas with high ecological safety values in each period are concentrated along Taihu Lake,Zhenze Area,Beimayang Area,Tongli Lake Area,Sanbaidang Area and Yuandang Area;based on the analysis of the DPSIRM model,the management,impact and driver indices have significantly increased in safety value,the pressure index has decreased,and the state and response indices show a decreasing and then increasing trend.It indicates that despite the state of rising pressure,the ecological safety of wetlands in Wujiang District shows a trend of gradual improvement with the implementation of wetland protection and management measures.(3)Spatial autocorrelation analysis of the evaluation results shows that there is an obvious spatial aggregation effect of the wetland ecological safety index in Wujiang District.The high ecological safety areas are mainly concentrated in the Taihu Lake area,Zhenze area,Beimayang area and Tongli Lake area,with a trend of gradual decrease in area;the low ecological safety areas are mainly concentrated in Taoyuan town,the southwestern urban area of Zhenze town,Taihu New Town and Lili town,with a trend of gradual increase in area except for Taoyuan and Zhenze town.The detection of the factors affecting the ecological safety of wetlands in Wujiang District revealed that the factors affecting the ecological safety of wetlands were,in descending order of significance,the proportion of water area,the level of wetland protection,the development index,precipitation,the water consumption of 10,000 yuan of GDP,and the diversity of bird species.(4)Combining the results of the evaluation and analysis of the ecological security of wetlands in Wujiang District,the measures to ensure the ecological security of wetlands in Wujiang District are discussed in three aspects: regulating ecological security pressure,improving the ecological protection structure of wetlands and enhancing management response efficiency.The main focus is on the implementation of a strict land management system,the adjustment of agricultural development,industrial upgrading and corporate emissions;strengthening the construction of buffer zones,optimising water systems and creating growth nodes;optimising and clarifying the management level,increasing the development and promotion of wetland science and education courses,and broadening and improving the relevant environmental protection investment paths and channels.The strategy for the regulation of wetland ecological security in Wujiang District is presented in a targeted and hierarchical manner.
