| Water is fundamental to people’s survival,an important natural resource for social production,and a cornerstone of social security and stability.There are many water safety problems at water sources,such as reservoir silt blockage,water pollution accidents and water shortage,which have aroused keen concern from all walks of life.In recent years,the State Council of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has put forward the requirement of “safeguarding the safety of drinking water and fighting a good battle to protect water sources”.In this paper,according to the actual situation of water sources in Zhangjiakou,the Yaozhanpu drinking-water source area is selected as the research object,and the PSR framework model is adopted.According to the principle of indicator construction,from the three aspects of pressure,state and response,we have selected 23 indicator factors from six aspects,including “social water use index”,“economic water use index”,“water resource condition index”,“water environment quality index”,“environmental governance index”,and “environmental management index”,to establish the water environment safety evaluation indicator system of Yaozhanpu drinking-water source area.The entropy weighting method is combined with MATLAB software to calculate the weights,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to make an evaluation of the safety of drinking water environment in the study area from 2014 to 2020.The safety degree S of indicators is introduced,and the safety status of indicators in each layer is derived with reference to the water environment safety status grading standard.The results of the study show that the“pressure” criterion is in a safe to very safe state,with the “social water use index” facing relatively high pressure,and the awareness of residents to conserve water needs to be improved.The “state” criterion is generally in a safe state to very safe state,with the main influencing factors being the scarcity of water resources and pollution from agricultural surface,etc.The safety level of the “response” criterion fluctuates greatly,rising significantly from 2014 to 2018,transforming from a basic safety state to a very safe state,reaching a peak in 2018 and then starting to decline significantly,and being in a basic safety state in 2020,with a relatively low and uneven safety level among the three criterion layers,and the government needs to do more work in terms of environmental governance,and financial support for environmental protection and UNESCO projects.In summary,under the combined influence of the “pressure”,“state” and “response” criteria,the water environment safety of the Yaozhanpu drinking-water source area is in the range of 0.675 to 0.861,which is in a safe state to a very safe state,and the water environment safety state is relatively optimistic.Based on the results of the water environmental safety assessment of the study area,targeted suggestions and countermeasures are put forward for the management of the Yaozhanpu drinking-water source area.This paper is of great scientific research significance and practical importance for ensuring the water environmental safety of water sources,maintaining the sustainable socio-economic development of Zhangjiakou City and the health and safety of people’s drinking water,and can also serve as a reference for the management of water environmental protection at other drinking water sources across the country. |
