In recent years,high-strength plastics as an extension of petrochemical products,because of its superior comprehensive performance is widely used in the semiconductor industry,biomedical industry,space stations,electronic appliances,new energy vehicles and other high-end manufacturing fields,but its core production equipment-large extruder reducer,but from time to time there are key parts of the friction and wear defects This has become a bottleneck that restricts the rapid development of highstrength plastic extruder industry.In order to solve such problems,this study is funded by WE Group’s equipment research and development project,to explore the causes of friction and wear defects of key parts of high-strength plastic extruder,extract fault characteristics,establish and optimize the online monitoring system of friction and wear defects of key parts,to achieve full-time online monitoring and early warning of friction and wear defects of large extruders,in order to achieve zero production stoppage caused by friction and wear defects.The purpose of this paper is to eliminate the downtime caused by friction and wear defects.The main research contents and innovative work of this paper are as follows.1,This paper mainly analyzes the process flow and key equipment characteristics of the large extruder unit of polypropylene(PP)production line,which is the main raw material of high-strength plastics,and on this basis,the causes of friction and wear defects of key core components are analyzed in depth,and the failure forms of the main gears and bearings of the large extruder reducer of high-strength plastics are studied in the operation process,so that the failure characteristics parameters can be better extraction and display.2,In-depth analysis and fault feature extraction,fault signal conversion,spectrum analysis and fault diagnosis are carried out for the main failure forms of gear failure and bearing failure and the fault formation process of friction and wear defects of key parts in the operation of the existing large extruder reducer,so as to ensure a higher accuracy of the system built in this paper.3,Based on Lab VIEW software platform,we develop online condition monitoring system,extract fault characteristics of friction and wear defects,establish online monitoring system,optimize the fault diagnosis accuracy of the system through a large amount of production site test data,and update and optimize the system in real time according to the large production data,so as to ensure the accuracy rate of the system reaches more than 96.68%.4,Finally,the online monitoring system established by this research institute was applied to the industrial mass production in 16 downstream enterprises of WE Group to realize the real-time online monitoring and early warning of friction and wear defects of key parts of the main reducer of large extruder.The application results show that the system can fully meet the enterprise’s strict usage requirements for online monitoring of friction and wear defects,and bring WE Group an annual profit increase of 15.12%per machine.
