| The Xunpu female is a kind name for women engaged in traditional fishing in the village of Quanzhou City,Fujian Province,and is one of the three major fishing women in Fujian,together with the Hui’an female and Meizhou female.However,with the intensification of urbanization,modern civilization is subtly eroding traditional culture,and the costumes of the women in the village,which have lasted for thousands of years,are facing a crisis of discontinuity in the modern city.Since 2008,when the custom of the hairy sea woman was included in the national intangible cultural heritage list,the local government and people from all walks of life have been exploring and searching for effective protection measures for the "living" intangible cultural heritage.In this study,from the perspective of semiotics,the integration and symbiosis between the costume culture of the hairy sea woman and fashion accessories are made through design transformation to promote the costume culture of the hairy sea woman and activate the modern vitality of the local culture of the hairy sea.This study takes Morris’ s semiotic theory as the theoretical basis,analyzes the Xunpu women’s costume culture from the view of morphology and semiotics,and designs the costume accessory products from a pragmatic perspective.Firstly,the Xunpu women’s costume is analyzed from multiple perspectives through field visits and literature collection,and the reasons for the discontinuity of the customs are sorted out,and the semiotic theory system and the costumes of the hairy women are briefly outlined.Secondly,the culture of the Xunpu women’s costume is explored from the perspective of morphology and semantics,the costume’s cultural symbols are extracted and the cultural symbol system is constructed.Finally,the target group is positioned and analyzed through the big data platform and questionnaire survey method and based on the above research,the transformation of the Xunpu women’s costume culture is completed through different combinations of costume accessories. |
