Due to the removal of the embedded frame,the frameless honeycomb sandwich panel can be first processed into a 4 × 8-foot standard plate,and then flexibly cut into plates of any size according to customer needs,which is suitable for furniture customization production,but this kind of plate is not easy to connect because of its hollowness.In this paper,the vertical corrugated honeycomb is used as the core material,and the frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel made of fiberboard,plywood and cardboard is used as the substrate.The detachable connection between the panels is realized by the ’double thread’ embedded connector created by the project team.The influence of embedded nut parameters and matching parameters on the pull-out performance is systematically explored.Based on the matching parameters,the influence of component form on the bending resistance of frameless honeycomb sandwich panel members is analyzed.The research results provide a theoretical basis for the node optimization design of frameless honeycomb sandwich panel furniture structure.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The influence of panel type,nut length,wide thread pitch and guide hole diameter on the pull-out strength of frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel is significant,while the influence of wide thread height is not significant.With the increase of panel thickness and wide thread pitch,the decrease of nut length and guide hole diameter,the ultimate pull-out strength shows an upward trend.The combination with the highest pull-out strength after improvement is a corrugated frameless honeycomb sandwich panel with a nut length of 15 mm,a wide thread pitch of 5 mm,a tooth height of 3.5 mm,a guide hole of 10.8 mm and a MDF panel of 5 mm.(2)The failure mode of the pull-out strength test of the frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel is mainly the panel;transverse cracking,radial cracking,peeling and internal stacking,overall peeling,local deformation.Core layer;tensile,tearing thread line,only crack.The pull-out strength of the rivet nut is greatly affected by its own lead,which is suitable for connection on 3 mm basswood plywood.The pull-out strength of the double thread insert nut is 1.5-2 times that of the current rivet nut suitable for sandwich panel in 5 mm MDF panel frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel..(3)The influence of eccentric part type,eccentric part position,edge sealing process and nut type on the bending strength of frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel is significant,while the influence of connecting rod hole position and panel type is not significant.The edge embedded metal eccentric member is installed above the transverse member,and the bending strength of the frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel L-shaped member with 3 mm plywood edge sealing is improved.The plastic eccentric member is installed above the transverse member,and the bending strength of the frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel T-shaped member with 5 mm MDF edge sealing is improved.(4)The failure mode of bending strength test of frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel is mainly;the upper surface plate of the longitudinal member is peeled off,the cracks around the embedded hole,the internal tear of the surface plate and the falling off of the edge band.connecting pieces;deviate from the embedded hole,bend,fracture.The bending strength of T-shaped members is 10%higher than that of L-shaped members.The error between the bending performance test value and the model calculation of the T-shaped component is between ±20%,and the double-threaded embedded nut is better with the model.The combination of riveting nut+edge embedded metal eccentric part has obvious advantages over the commonly used nut and eccentric part with high rigidity coefficient.When the structure allows,consider the use of T-shaped structure for frameless corrugated honeycomb sandwich panel furniture structure design.
