This thesis includes the research on the reduction reactions of 2(1H)-uinolinones and cyanoximes promoted by samarium diiodide.1.Study on the reduction reaction of 2(1H)-quinolinones promoted by samarium diiodide(SmI2).3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinolinones and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolinones are important nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds, which are widely found in natural products, biologically active molecules and drug molecules. In this thesis,a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinolinones and 1.2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolines were developed, which has good substrate adaptability, high product yields and mild reaction conditions. In the presence of water and methanol, the 2(1H)-quinolinones were reduced promoted by samarium diiodide to provide 3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinolinone products in good yields;in the presence of triethylamine and water, the 2(1H)-quinolinones were reduced promoted by samarium diiodide to generate 1.2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline products.2.Study on the reduction of cyanoxime compounds promoted by samarium diiodide.Aromatic nitrile is an indispensable core structure in many natural and nonnatural products, and plays an important role in biological applications, organic synthesis and chemical industry. The synthesis of aromatic nitriles has always been a hot area of research for chemists. In this thesis, the reduction of cyanoxime compounds promoted by samarium diiodide is studied, which provides a safe, green and efficient method for the synthesis of aromatic nitriles. This method has good substrate adaptability, high product yields, simple operation and mild reaction conditions.
