In recent years,the mining depth of the Jiaojia gold mine in Shandong province has become larger and larger,and the properties of ore and slime have changed greatly.The nature of the slime is extremely complex,causing many problems such as low gold concentrate grade and unsatisfactory tailings index,thus seriously affecting the economic benefits of enterprises.At present,the research on process mineralogy of ultra-fine slime is still blank.Due to the particularity of slime flotation,it has the difficulties of fine particle size,low grade,and large mud content.Therefore,in order to optimize the on-site production and improve the enterprise benefits,this thesis adopts the research idea of process mineralogy,combined with X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,optical microscope,and other testing methods to carry out process mineralogy research on the ore washing mud of Jiaojia gold mine.Based on the results,we analyzed the mineralogical factors that affect the beneficiation in depth,and explored the ways to reduce the grade of tailings,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the on-site process transformation.Through the process mineralogy study of the ore washing mud,it was found that the particle size of the raw ore less than 38μm accounted for 96.6%.The gold grade was only 1 g/t,the silver grade was 4.6 g/t,the iron content was 2.25%,and the sulfur content was 0.62%.It is a low-grade ultra-fine ore,which is an important factor that causes difficulties in beneficiation.The main sulfide mineral in the ore was pyrite,and the gangue minerals mainly include illite,quartz,albite,orthoclase,calcite,chlorite,etc.There are three types of gold minerals in the concentrate,namely natural gold,silver-gold ore and gold-silver ore.The gold particles are mostly fine and ultrafine gold,with an average particle size of only 1.9 μm.The occurrence state of gold is divided into four types:bare gold,inclusion gold,conjoined gold and fissure gold.The bare gold content is 41.85%;the inclusion gold content is 3.97%;the conjoined gold content is 44.2%,and the fissure gold content is 9.98%.In addition,clay minerals such as sericite and illite adsorbed gold particles,and underground filling materials and binders adsorbed small gold particles.The particle size of the tailing is very small,with 99.2%of the particle size less 38μm.The gold grade of tailing is 0.34 g/t,the silver grade is 1.5 g/t,the iron content is 1.93%,and the sulfur content is 0.24%.The main mineral components are gangue minerals such as illite,quartz and albite,and residual pyrite particles.In view of the small size of slime,high content of clay minerals,and complex mineral sources,it is recommended to add washing and sweeping procedures in the flotation process to increase the floatability of small particles of pyrite and collect residual pyrite in the tailings.The slurry concentration can be adjusted to reduce the adsorption of clay minerals on gold particles.In addition,the flotation reagent system can be improved to increase the inhibition of carbonate minerals,thereby improving the gold grade.
