| Flake aluminum powders have become the most widely used metal pigment because of its strong metallic luster and flash vision.The silver aluminum pigment with corrosion resistant is no longer meet the market demand.There is an urgent need for aluminum pigments with excellent properties in various industries,such as chromatic coloring aluminum powders.In this paper,three kinds of high-performance aluminum powders were prepared,through the construction and design of the surface structure of aluminum powder which endow the aluminum powder with color,alkali resistance and other properties.This paper mainly includes the following parts:(1)A kind of high-performance color aluminum powders coated by inorganic-organic hybrid was prepared.Tin disulfide was introduced on the surface of aluminum powders by one-step solvothermal method using pure aluminum powders,thioacetamide(TAA)and tin tetrachloride(5H2O·Sn Cl4)as raw materials,which endowed the aluminum powders with golden color.Then the aureate powders were enveloped by a fluorinated polymer membrane composed of trimethylol propane trimethacrylate(TMPTMA)and trifluoroethyl methacrylate(TFEMA).In the process of exploring the influencing factors of introducing tin disulfide,we found that sulfur source was the key factor because of the unique attraction between sulfur and aluminum.The results of FESEM showed that the reaction conditions affect the lamellar size and gap of tin disulfide,resulting in different colors of the samples.The existence of hybrid layer was confirmed by EDS and XPS.The prepared aluminum powders had bright color and excellent glossiness,and possess the ability to resist the erosion of 5wt%alkali solution after coated with fluorine-containing film.(2)A waterborne color aluminum pigment encapsulated with vinyl sulfone reactive dye was prepared.Vinyl modified layer was introduced on the surface of flake aluminum powder by sol-gel method using vinyl trimethoxysilane(VTMS).C.I.Reactive Blue 19(RB-19)is a typical vinyl sulfone reactive dye and was polymerized on the surface of aluminum powder to obtain the waterborne color aluminum powder.We found that reaction conditions could control the color of the final sample and optimized them.The existence of vinyl functional layer and dye layer was confirmed by FESEM,TEM and XPS.RB-19 present a knitted pattern structure on the surface of aluminum powder,dense and uniform,which endowed aluminum powder with wettability and corrosion resistance.The results of a series test demonstrated that the aluminum powders had bright color and excellent alkali resistance that there is no behavior of hydrogen evolution in 5 wt%alkali solution within 72 h.(3)A kind of chromatic aluminum powders colored by gorgeous organic pigments with stable chemical properties was prepared.Sodium polystyrene sulfonate(PSS)was used as a modifier.The surface of quinacridone red,phthalocyanine blue and other pigments were enriched with anions in the ball mill,which were fixed on the surface of aluminum powder by copper ions to obtain coloring aluminum powder.The particle size of organic pigments in alcohol-water system can be reduced to 650 nm.It is proved that dye particles attached to the surface of aluminum powder by means of FESEM,XPS,et al.And the experimental results illustrated that the color aluminum powder possessed chromatic color and good decorative effect. |
