Aluminum reduction cells are an important equipment for primary aluminum production.Its ability to produce stably is directly related to economic indicators such as the current efficiency,the energy efficiency,and the life time of the reduction cell.During the production process,due to the continuous changes of the material balance and energy balance in the cell and their mutual influence and restriction,alumunum reduction cells take place so call cold behaviors or hot behaviors sometime.The cell temperature is a parameter that is often measured during the operation of the reduction cells,but its purpose is only to determine whether the reduction cell is overheated or there is a risk of leakage.However,it is possible to know the shape and changing law of the side ledge of the aluminum reduction cell through the temperature change information of the cell shell,so as to understand the operating condition of the reduction cell.This paper compares and analyzes the existing temperature measurement technology,and then selects the fiber grating temperature sensor with the characteristics of high temperature measurement accuracy,fast response,antielectromagnetic interference and corrosion resistance as the temperature measurement element.In addition,based on the Kingview HView 6.4.0 software architecture.And the Visual C++6.0 programming environment,a real-time monitoring and analysis system for the cell shell temperature of the aluminum reduction cell was built.(1)The temperature acquisition hardware system is composed of temperature measuring components,optical fiber jumpers,optical splitter boxes and optical fiber sensor analyzers.(2)The software system consists of three subsystems:configuration,operation and network client service,with functions such as user management,parameter setting,data display,historical query,report statistics,printing and alarm warning.(3)The actual model of the side ledge thickness and side wall temperature of the aluminum reduction cell is:δ=α(T1-Ts)/Tb-T1-H.(4)Using the data of a company’s 300kA aluminum reduction cell to revise,the side ledge thickness model Of δ=α(T1-Ts)/Tb-T1-H is obtained,and the a value measured by side A of the cell is 2.60 ± 1.3mm,while side B of the cell is 3.10 ± 1.51mm,and the value of H of this company’s 300kA cell is 90mm. |
