| As a basic equipment for the forging industry, hydraulic presses play a vital role in national defence, aerospace and industry.Prestressing wire winding presses,as new structures of prestressing presses, have great demands on their quality and precision. This paper proposes the design of a 400MN prestressed steel wire winding press based on the press design theory of Prof.Yan Yongnian of Tsinghua University combined with the actual production project of a factory in Tianjin, and designs and calculates the relevant design parameters of the 400MN prestressed steel wire winding press.By applying ANSYS finite element analysis software and simulating the prestressed steel wire winding process with the thermosolid coupling method, the steel wire winding process was divided into two cases, namely winding cylinder and frame, and the initial stress of the steel wire winding was divided into different initial stress steps such as two, four, six, eight or ten to investigate its effect on the prestressing effect, and the number of initial stress steps of the steel wire winding cylinder and frame were analysed.A finite element analysis of a 400MN prestressed wire winding press in the synthetic state was carried out to analyse the stresses and strains in the press.Multi-objective optimisation was carried out for structural dimensions with higher or lower stresses,to investigate the correlation between the structural dimensions of the press and the maximum stresses in the upper and lower semicircular beams and the overall mass of the press,to exclude design variables with less correlation,to establish a mathematical model for multi-objective optimisation, and to carry out multi-objective optimisation on the premise of ensuring that the strength and stiffness meet the design requirements, with the overall mass of the press as the main optimisation variable, and to achieve good optimisation results. After optimisation,a pre-stress modal analysis is carried out on the prestressed steel wire winding press to obtain the inherent frequencies and corresponding vibration patterns for the first 6 orders. The inherent frequencies are compared with the operating shock frequencies to determine whether resonance phenomena occur and to verify the reasonableness of the structural design. The fatigue life of the frame of the prestressed steel wire winding press was analysed using the nominal stress method in combination with the actual working conditions. The fatigue analysis software was used to analyse the fatigue of the 400MN prestressed steel wire winding press in combination with the actual working conditions and to determine whether the overall design of the press met the requirements of the industry. The above design and analysis study will provide reference for future design and research of heavy prestressing wire winding presses and prestressing wire winding process technology. |
