Liquid crystal elastomer(LCE)is one of the most quickly stimulating response materials.Recently,it has attracted a lot of attention because of its reversible and controllable shape,which has great potential in the field of bionics devices and artificial muscles.Due to the outstanding advantages such as instantaneous and reversible actuation,many scientists have been inspired to conduct scientific research and exploration in fields such as actuators and soft robots.The important obstacle to the application of LCE materials in the field of soft robots is its spatial restriction and selfshielding effect as an actuator material.In this paper,a cylindrical thiolacrylate main chain LCE actuator was prepared by Michael addition reaction,and thiol-acrylate main chain LCE fabricated by thermally initiated polymerization and crosslinking process.The cylindrical mercaptan acrylate main chain LCE actuator was prepared through the classic Michael addition reaction in click chemistry,which expanded the preparation technology and application potential of LCE materials.The thiol acrylate main chain LCE was designed and prepared using the mold method,greatly improving the production efficiency of this type of LCE preparation process,and greatly reducing production costs.Through click chemistry reaction,the first step of crosslinking of mercaptan acrylate main chain LCE is completed quickly and efficiently,reducing costs and reducing dependence on the external environment of the reaction system.In the process of preparing LCE materials,the second step of crosslinking reaction is to prepare thiolacrylate main chain LCE materials by replacing photoinitiation with thermal initiation.The thiolacrylate main chain LCE material prepared by thermal initiation route has good quality,reproducibility,physical and chemical properties,and mechanical driving performance,which are basically consistent with those prepared by photoinitiation method.The cylindrical LCE material was prepared by mold method,and the related research of soft robot was carried out.The cylindrical LCE material prepared by thermally initiated cross-linking polymerization has better adaptability under the irradiation of an actuating light source in the quasi-sunlight area.
