Rock bit is an indispensable rock breaking tool for drilling operation.In view of the harsh test conditions,the cumbersome test process,and the complex interaction process between bit teeth and rock,it is difficult to obtain ideal drilling results.It is also very important to analyze the rock breaking mechanism of the bit and the computer simulation of the interaction between the bit and the rock.In this paper,ABAQUS finite element analysis software is used to study the influence of different factors on the tricone bit,Single cone bit,The specific research contents of the influence of the transmission ratio when the mixed bit breaks rock are as follows:(1)Understand tricone bit,Single cone bit,Based on the research of the basic structure and tooth shape of the mixed bit,the rock breaking mechanism and cutting tooth force of the cone bit and the mixed bit are analyzed.(2)Three-cone bit is established by CREO software,Single cone bit,Geometric model of mixed bit.Through ABAQUS finite element analysis software,the simulation models of the contact between the full tooth of the cone bit and the rock and the contact between the mixed bit and the rock are established.Define its assembly,Analysis step setting,Meshing,Loads and boundary conditions,etc.(3)By changing the weight on bit,Speed,rock properties,cone geometry is used to simulate and analyze the transmission ratio of the three-cone bit(the ratio of the rotation speed of the cone to the bit body is referred to as the transmission ratio),the bottom hole stress,the amount of rock breaking,the bit footage and the mechanical penetration rate.(4)The transmission ratio of single cone bit and mixed bit is simulated and analyzed by changing the weight on bit.(5)Finally,the Python script is written by an external editor and imported into ABAQUS to establish the heterogeneous rock model,and the effect of mineral content in the heterogeneous rock model on the transmission ratio is studied.
