Filter press is an important equipment in sludge removal water treatment.At present,the filtration equipment widely used in sludge removal water mainly includes plate and frame type filter press,chamber type filter press and horizontal belt type filter press.Each of these equipment has its own limitations.The plate and frame filter press cannot operate continuously and has low productivity;the horizontal belt filter press can process slurry continuously,but it covers a large area,has a complex structure,is difficult to maintain and has a high cost.Due to the above situation,it is necessary to try to develop a new type of filter press equipment which can produce continuously and has low energy consumption and cost,and apply it to the actual production.Based on the summary of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing filter press equipment,a novel idea of filter press is put forward.A vertical belt filter press machine is designed,in which the head of the mud is pressurized by gravity and water is used as the power supply,so that continuous filter press can be carried out and the active pressure and energy consumption can be greatly reduced.Theoretical guidance on the design and optimization of structural parameters of the vertical belt filter machine is still lacking.This paper involves deep research on the basic theoretical problems involved in the development of the vertical belt filter machine,and provides theoretical basis and directional guidance for the structure design,parameter matching,efficiency and scientific integration of the vertical belt filter machine.Combining with the actual working conditions,a new vertical continuous filter press is designed.The main research efforts are as follows:(1)The theory of crush and filtration was analyzed;According to various kinds of slurry treatment filter equipment,the working principle and main structure of relevant equipment are introduced.Based on the summary of literature,the current situation,existing problems and development trend of filter press equipment are discussed,the purpose and significance of the research are expounded,and reference is provided for the development and application of a new type of filter press machine.(2)The material in the filter press chamber of vertical continuous filter press was simulated and analyzed,and the change of solid content and pressure of material in the filter press chamber was analyzed and calculated by using fluent dynamic analysis function,the results show that the solid content of cake is 85% at outlet and the maximum pressure of material at the bottom of belt is 0.42 MPa.(3)The design idea of vertical continuous filter press is put forward and the overall design scheme is completed.The machine is composed of frame,tension device,filter cloth cleaning device,feed device,press roll,rectifying device,etc.The filter cloth width is2500 mm and the diameter of press roller is 850 mm.The feasibility of the press roll structure was studied using the finite element method to further verify the reliability of the equipment.(4)Determined the parameters of the filter belt support roller and other components,and completed the design of the structure of the sealed drainage groove,etc.The steering device of the belt filter press was studied,and the self-steering scheme of the drum roller with convexity was adopted,and field tests were conducted.The influence of the convexity and other parameters on the effect of deflection correction was studied,and the length of the self-steering roller body was determined to be 2800 mm and the convexity was 8mm.
