With the rapid development of petroleum industry, soil petroleum hydrocarbon pollution has become a prominent environmental problem. In order to reduce the ecological and health risks of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil,it is necessary to carry out effective remediation and treatment.Sodium persulfate is widely used in remediation of contaminated soil due to its strong oxidation ability and wide range of p H.However, its removal rate of pollutants closely bound with soil is low and petroleum hydrocarbons cannot be completely removed by oxidation.Surfactants can promote the transfer of pollutants from soil to water phase, improve the oxidation removal ability of sodium persulfate to pollutants, and gradually be used to strengthen the treatment of petroleum hydrocarbon in contaminated soil by sodium persulfate oxidation, but the strengthening effect is very unstable, and the strengthening mechanism is not clear. In this study, sodium persulfate was used to enhance the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil by surfactants. The results of removing petroleum hydrocarbon by sodium persulfate oxidation enhanced by different surfactants were compared and the remediation conditions enhanced by SDS were optimized, providing reference for the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil by surfactants enhanced by sodium persulfate.Four different surfactants(Tw-80,TX100,SDS and SDBS)were used for solubilization and enhanced remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil in order to investigate the enhanced removal effect of sodium persulfate oxidation by different surfactants. The effects of transition metal content in supernatant, adsorption of surfactant, solubilization of petroleum hydrocarbon and decomposition of sodium persulfate on enhanced repair were investigated. Results show that surfactant across different oxidation of sodium sulfate removal of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil have some reinforcement effect, which the SDS to strengthen the effect of the optimal, rather than that of supernatant fluid transition metal content is higher, the soil on the adsorption quantity is small, the petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil of solubilization effect is good and right about less consumption of sodium sulfate. In order to further optimize the surfactant SDS to strengthen the effect of sodium persulfate repair, examines the concentration of surfactant, sodium persulfate concentration, reaction time and p H of the influence of repair, and explore the solubilization of thermal activation of reinforcement, the surfactant on the feasibility of recycling and repair applicable effect of panjin crude oil contaminated soil. The results showed that 10 CMC SDS and 1.586 g sodium persulfate could obtain a better repair effect after 24 hours of mixed reaction without adjusting p H.Under the thermal activation coupling condition, the SDS concentration reduced to 5CMC can obtain similar results to that of 10 CMC at room temperature. After three times of recovery and reuse, surfactant SDS can still enhance the remediation of fresh petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil.In addition,SDS also had a good effect on the soil contaminated by crude oil in Panjin.
