Taking the cast steel support as the research object,four casting process schemes are designed on the basis of using the original production mold.The mold filling and solidification processes of the improved scheme were analyzed by AnyCasting software,and the best process scheme was selected for trial production.The processed castings have no defects,which verifies the feasibility of the selected scheme and the consistency of the simulation results.Firstly,the general situation,process method and original process scheme of cast steel support are introduced.Because the coated sand mold is expensive,four process improvement schemes are designed on the basis of using the original mold.The three-dimensional solid models of the four processes are established by using UG software to facilitate the subsequent simulation.Secondly,the four improved processes designed in this thesis are numerically simulated by AnyCasting software.After comparing and analyzing the defects such as shrinkage cavity and porosity produced by the four improved processes in the process of mold filling and solidification,the best improvement scheme is determined.Finally,the best improvement scheme is verified in the actual trial production.The results show that the castings produced by the selected improvement scheme are basically consistent with the simulation results and can ensure the quality.
