Compared with cotton fabrics, viscose fabrics are widely favored by consumers due to their excellent softness, moisture absorption, and dyeing properties. However,in the process of daily wearing and washing, whether it is cotton fabrics or viscose fabrics, the problem of easy pilling on the surface affects its use in daily life.Compared with cotton fabrics, the antipilling finishing of viscose fabrics is relatively more difficult.Regardless of acid cellulase or neutral cellulase, traditional cotton polishing enzymes are mostly unable to produce a significant polishing effect on viscose fibers. The structural difference between viscose fiber and cotton fiber is that the former has a skin-core structure and the skin structure is densely arranged, while the core structure is relatively loose.Due to the existence of the cortex structure, the adsorption of viscose fibers to cellulase is hindered, and the enzymatic hydrolysis is inhibited, which makes viscose fabrics more difficult to polish than cotton fabrics.Given the above problems,to find out the influencing factors of the bio-polishing effect of viscose fabrics, this paper firstly compared the bio-polishing effects of cotton fabrics and viscose fabrics, and compared the bio-polishing effects of the two fabrics with the adsorption kinetic analysis;secondly, taking the amount of reducing sugar, reduction rate and hairiness removal as evaluation indicators, the differences in the effect of different cellulases on viscose polishing were analyzed by measuring the activity of cellulase enzyme components;then, the surface structure of viscose fibers was analyzed. The influence of the existence of the cortex structure on the polishing effect was analyzed by SEM and XRD.Finally, the effect of each process on the polishing effect of viscose was explored based on the temperature, dosage, time,pH,and mechanical action conditions of cellulase. The results showed that the hydrolysis efficiency of the same cellulase on cotton fabrics was higher than that on viscose fabrics;the alkali treatment can destroy the cortex structure of the fibers so that the cellulase had a significant polishing effect on viscose fabrics. The biopolishing effect of different cellulases on viscose was different, among which the cellulase with high filter paper enzyme activity(representing total enzyme activity)and CMC enzyme activity(representing endonuclease activity)The removal effect of fiber hairiness was relatively good;a comprehensive investigation of the overall effect of bio-polishing of viscose fabrics showed that enzyme action time and mechanical force had the greatest influence on bio-polishing effect. To improve the biopolishing effect of viscose fabrics, research was carried out on two aspects of fiber modification and cellulase compounding.First, the surface of viscose fiber was modified by the surface pretreatment method, and the effect of different modification treatments on its biopolishing effect was investigated. The viscose fabrics were treated with sodium hydroxide solution, saturated calcium chloride solution, and hydrophilic finishing agent respectively. The amount of reducing sugar, weight reduction rate,anti-pilling grade, and enzyme adsorption amount was used as reference indicators to observe by scanning electron microscope. The changes in the surface topography of the fabrics were compared and analyzed. The results showed that pretreatment with a 2.5 % sodium hydroxide solution could improve the biopolishing effect of viscose fabrics to a certain extent. After polishing, the antipilling grade of viscose fabrics increased from 2.0 to 3.0,the strength retention rate was84.36%,and the fabric whiteness was improved. After pretreatment and polishing, the degree of cellulase can still reach 89.75,and the hand feel had no obvious change;after the hydrophilic surface modification of the fabric, the equilibrium adsorption capacity of the hydrophilic viscose fabric to cellulase was about 3 times that of the original viscose fabric. However, from the perspective of reducing sugar content, reduction rate and anti-pilling performance, the hydrophilic modification of viscose fabric did not significantly improve the bio-polishing effect of the fabric.Based on the above research, the effective way to improve the bio-polishing effect of viscose fabric was further explored from the perspective of cellulase compounding. In this paper, three different cellulases were compounded in equal volumes, and the viscosity of single cellulase and compound cellulase was compared in terms of reducing sugar content, reduction rate,anti-pilling grade, whiteness, and hand feeling.Differences in bio-polishing effect and wearability of adhesive fabrics. The results showed that the cellulase B with higher endonuclease activity and β-glucosidase activity and the cellulase C with higher exonuclease activity improved the polishing effect of viscose fabrics relatively best, and the biological polishing The amount of reducing sugar produced was 26.54 mg/g fabric, and the reduction rate was 5.47 %;when the flat grinding revolution was 1500 r,the anti-pilling grade of the fabric was 3.0,and the whiteness and hand feel did not change significantly.
