Peridynamic theory(PD)is a method that uses integral equations to describe the mechanical behavior of materials,and this theory can effectively simulate the crack expansion process of fiber-reinforced composites.The research contents and results of this paper based on peridynamic theory in crack extension and analysis of fiberreinforced composites are as follows.(1)A simulation acceleration method for fiber-reinforced composites combining the peridynamics theory and the classical elastodynamic analysis method is proposed.The method can effectively improve the computational efficiency.It is verified that the method can effectively simulate the displacement of single-ply fiber-reinforced composites,and the iterative convergence speed is improved by a factor of 1 when the iterative error convergence reaches 1×10-8 mm.In addition,the displacement distributions and crack expansion processes of fiber-reinforced composite single-ply panels subjected to transverse loads at 30°,45° and 60° are simulated and analyzed.(2)A peridynamic model for curved fiber-reinforced composites based on peridynamics is proposed.The fiber orientation of this model is a varying curve instead of a fixed-angle straight fiber.The varying critical elongation is introduced as the material fracture evaluation criterion,and the prefabricated defective rectangular plates are analyzed statically and damage fracture.The results show that the model can effectively simulate the material deformation process under uniform velocity loading and performs very well in fracture damage simulation.(3)Development of a damage fracture simulation program for fiber-reinforced composites based on peridynamics.The simulation acceleration method of fiberreinforced composites based on the key type and the curved fiber-reinforced composite solution model were developed as solution software.The software was used to perform static and damage fracture analysis on the intact structure and the structure containing defects of fiber-reinforced composites,and to study the damage law and force characteristics of fiber-reinforced composites.The simulation calculation acceleration method,new theoretical model and software of this study can provide new ideas and solutions for damage fracture analysis and structural optimization of fiber-reinforced composites. |
