Comparative Study On Liaocheng Paper-cut And Yangzhou Paper-cut

The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,as a thousand-year historical relic,is a precious wealth left by our ancestors to the world.In order to further tap the rich historical and cultural resources of the Grand Canal Basin,tell the story of the canal well,inherit and carry forward the spirit of the canal,and highlight the charm of Chinese culture,this paper selects paper-cutting in Liaocheng,Shandong and Yangzhou,Jiangsu as the research objects,and makes a comparative analysis of paper-cutting in the two places in various aspects.Besides the introduction and conclusion,there are five chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the cultural origin and historical evolution of Liaocheng paper-cut and Yangzhou paper-cut,and compares them.The second chapter focuses on the comparison between Liaocheng paper-cut and Yangzhou paper-cut,and analyzes the similarities and differences of the two manufacturing processes through the comparison of tool material selection,manufacturing form and manufacturing process.The third chapter focuses on the comparison of the artistic features of Liaocheng paper-cutting and Yangzhou paper-cutting,and analyzes the similarities and differences of the artistic features of paper-cutting between the two places through the specific artistic expressions of paper-cutting.The fourth chapter focuses on comparing the symbolic meanings of Liaocheng paper-cut and Yangzhou paper-cut,and analyzing the similarities and differences between the symbolic meanings of paper-cut in the two places through the comparison of patterns.The fifth chapter mainly compares the present situation of Liaocheng paper-cut and Yangzhou paper-cut and analyzes the similarities and differences between them.Paper-cutting in Liaocheng and Yangzhou,as the intangible cultural heritage of the Grand Canal Valley,has been deeply influenced by the canal culture in the historical process of inheritance and development for many years.At the same time,it has been branded with distinct regional characteristics due to the differences in nature and customs of their respective locations.Paper-cutting in the two places has a long history,profound cultural heritage and distinctive artistic features.The challenges faced by paper-cutting in the two places in the development of contemporary society still need continuous exploration and innovation by the two places and all sectors of society.It is of great significance to protect and make good use of paper-cutting in both places,to further understand the characteristics of canal cultural heritage,to tell a good story of canal,to carry forward the spirit of canal culture,to enrich and innovate national culture,to display the charm of Chinese culture and to help cultural construction in the new era.
