With the progress of science and technology and the development of industry,the careless discharge of a large number of waste water containing organic dyes and metal ions has caused serious water pollution,which is a great threat to environmental safety and life health.Many detection and removal methods have been applied to detect and remove pollutants in water.Compared with many methods,fluorescence detection method and adsorption removal method are simpler and more effective.Mesoporous silicon material SBA-15 has the characteristics of rich pore structure,large specific surface area and abundant hydroxyl on the surface,which is easy to be functionalized,which makes it has a broad application prospect in the detection and removal of pollutants in water.Therefore,with the help of the physical and chemical properties of SBA-15,we synthesized a series of organic functionalized SBA-15 materials to achieve the dual effects of methyl orange and metal ion detection and adsorption in water.(1)Selective detection of specific organic dyes remains a considerable challenge.In this paper,a thiophene derivative(TT)functionalized mesoporous silica material,TTU-SBA-15,has been successfully developed as a fluorescent sensor and adsorbent for methyl orange(MO)detection.TTU-SBA-15 has good sensing performance,and has a highly selective and ultra-sensitive detection ability for MO based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET).The detection limit was 9.2×10-8M.Competitive pollutants,p H changes and sample recovery have a slight effect on MO detection.TTU-SBA-15 is also used to determine MO in tap water and has a good spiked recovery.In addition,isothermal adsorption experiments showed that Langmuir model was more consistent with TTU-SBA-15 adsorption of MO,and the fitted maximum adsorption capacity was 10 mg/g.Moreover,the adsorption process can promote the diffusion of MO in the mesoporous material TTU-SBA-15,thus improving the detection sensitivity.(2)A functionalized mesoporous silica material Py N-SBA-15 with fluorescence activity was synthesized with fluorescence activity was synthesized by combining pyrene ligand PYF with mesoporous silica SBA-15,and its dual functions of Al3+、Cu2+and Hg2+detection and removal were successfully realized.The results show that the material has"turn-off"response to Al3+,Cu2+and Hg2+ions,and can achieve quantitative detection of the three metal ions with a low detection limit(LOD=8.0×10-7,1.1×10-7and 2.9×10-6M,respectively).On the other hand,adsorption experiments show that Py N-SBA-15 accords with Langmuir adsorption model,and has higher saturated adsorption capacity(Qmax=257,87 and 1245 mg/g,respectively)and faster adsorption kinetics for Al3+、Cu2+and Hg2+.In addition,the prepared Py N-SBA-15 silica material can be reused four times without significantly reducing the adsorption capacity.(3)The organic-inorganic hybrid Py Cl-SBA-15 was prepared by coupling the pyrene derivative Py Cl with mesoporous SBA-15 and combining the advantages of mesoporous silica and organic fluorophore.The material showed selective detection of Zr4+and realized effective adsorption removal in water.The excellent stability and fluorescence enhancement effect of Py Cl-SBA-15 enable it to quantitatively detect Zr4+with high selectivity,sensitivity and anti-interference,and the detection limit is as low as 1.8×10-6 M.and the synthesized material showed rapid adsorption kinetics for Zr4+,and reached adsorption equilibrium within 30 min.Moreover,the synthesized material had excellent adsorption performance,and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 447 mg/g.In addition,in order to solve the problem of difficult recovery of SBA-15 solid powder,the CA-Py Cl composite membrane was prepared by fixing the material on cellulose acetate membrane,CA-Py Cl also showed good adsorption effect and recovery performance.
