| Antimony is the most important antimony-bearing ore in the world. The mineral produces acid under the action of oxygen and water, which leads to the formation of acid drainage in antimony mining areas. However, some studies have shown that neutral drainage or even alkaline drainage still exists in the antimony ore area, which is mainly related to the type of surrounding rock in the antimony ore area. How the type of surrounding rock affects the p H of the antimony-bearing ore leaching solution is rarely reported.Secondly, the oxidative dissolution of stibnite requires the participation of water, and whether the contact conditions of antimony ore and water will also affect the release of antimony, these problems are still lack of understanding and need to be solved. Therefore,in order to understand the behavioral characteristics of antimony released by leaching of antimony-containing ores, column leaching experiments were used in this study. The characteristics of the mineral phase and the composition of the surrounding rock reveal the influence of the type of the surrounding rock on the leaching and release of antimony from antimony-bearing ores, and reveal the behavior characteristics of antimony-bearing ores leaching and releasing antimony under different water contact conditions.Gain the following knowledge:(1)Under the condition of complete immersion, the release of Sb from antimony bearing ore restricted by two different surrounding rocks increases with the increase of time at the beginning, and decreases after a period of fluctuation, but the downward trend of carbonate surrounding rock is smaller than that of quartz sandstone.(2)Under the condition of dry wet alternation, the release of Sb from antimony bearing ore restricted by two different surrounding rocks changes in a parabola with the increase of leaching time, and the peak time is similar. With the increase of leaching time, the release of Sb from antimony bearing ore restricted by carbonate rock decreases, but the quartz sandstone group rises again.(3)Antimony bearing ores restricted by two different surrounding rocks are dissolved in the order of dolomite and stibnite. On the 48 th day of leaching, the dolomite minerals in the antimony bearing ore were basically dissolved, and gradually dominated by the dissolution of stibnite.(4)Under the condition of complete immersion, the water rock interaction is sufficient, which is conducive to the dissolution of carbonate minerals and stibnite in antimony bearing ores.Under the condition of dry wet alternation, the interaction between water and rock is insufficient, and the carbonate minerals and stibnite in antimony bearing ore are not completely dissolved. |
