| Tool preparation can not only obtain a smooth edge profile,eliminate edge microscopic defects,but also improve tool life and cutting performance.Tool magnetic preparation is an advanced tool preparation method.Magneto-elastic composite abrasive are a new type of composite abrasive formed by the magnetic medium phase,the abrasive particle phase and the elastic polymer matrix in a certain proportion.It has magnetic properties,low elastic modulus and excellent grinding performance,which can improve processing efficiency and processing quality.Therefore,in this paper,Magneto-elastic composite abrasive are introduced into the magnetic preparation of dual disks,and it is of extremely important scientific significance and practical value to study the magnetic preparation of tools based on Magneto-elastic composite abrasive.In this paper,based on the Double-disk magnetic preparation method,the influence of silica gel and epoxy magneto-elastic composite abrasive on tool preparation was studied.Firstly,based on the basic theory of magnetic field,a dual-disk magnetic preparation magnetic field model was established by MAXWELL software,and the influence of the disk spacing,disk thickness and disk diameter on the magnetic induction intensity and preparation pressure on the cutting edge of the tool was studied,and the influence of the thickness of the disk and the distance between the disks on the magnetic field force on the magneto-elastic composite abrasive,and built a dual-disk magnetic preparation experimental platform.Secondly,the preparation methods of softer silica gel-type magneto-elastic composite abrasive and hard epoxy resin-type magneto-elastic composite abrasive were proposed.Physical properties such as microstructure,mixing uniformity,hardness,density,porosity and specific surface area are tested,and mechanical properties such as elastic modulus and tensile strength are obtained through tensile tests.Thirdly,Based on the theory of particle-filled composite materials and meso-mechanical theory,a meso-representative volume element model(RVE)of magneto-elastic composite abrasive was established by using ABAQUS software,the influence of particle size percentage,particle size ratio,particle shape and particle arrangement of iron and silicon carbide filler particles on the stress and strain of magneto-elastic composite abrasive was studied to provide a basis for further optimizing the preparation process of magneto-elastic composite abrasive.Finally,the magneto-elastic composite abrasive were applied to the double-disk magnetic preparation experiment to study the effects of preparation parameters such as preparation time,abrasive grain size,tool rotation speed,disk rotation speed and disk spacing on the preparation amount and shape of the front and flank surfaces of the tool.The influence law of the factor,and the comparison and analysis of the two magneto-elastic composite abrasive magnetic preparation methods,the common magnetic abrasive grain magnetic preparation method and the traditional vertical rotary preparation method,further verified that the magneto-elastic composite abrasive have higher preparation efficiency and preparation quality.The results of this paper have important theoretical value and practical significance for exploring the application of magneto-elastic composite abrasive,exploring new technologies and approaches for tool preparation,and promoting the progress of magnetic high-efficiency machining and magnetic finishing technology in my country. |
