After 2016,domestic steel industry began to reduce excessive capacity,the large-scale economy has no longer been significant,the transformation and upgrading of the traditional steel industry has become more and more difficult,and the growth of domestic and foreign demand tended to be slow.In 2020,China proposed the "Emission peaking and carbon neutrality " target for the first time.In this situation,domestic iron and steel enterprises need to fulfill their responsibility of reducing carbon emission,which will lead to rise of environmental cost and declination in profit.Therefore,it is imperative for iron and steel companies to reduce cost and to improve production efficiency.The cost management modes of many iron and steel enterprises are still relatively rough,and there are several loopholes in product cost assignment.Enterprises need to adopt more scientific cost accounting methods such as standard cost method and activity-based costing.Based on the background mentioned above,this paper selected a typical large state-owned iron and steel enterprises in the northeast old industrial base as the case company,carefully depicted the value chain,and tried to find out cost reduction methods,so as to offset the increase of environmental costs caused by energy conservation and carbon reduction,and realize the purpose of cost reduction and efficiency increase of iron and steel enterprises.Chapter 1 introduces the research background and significance of this paper;Chapter 2 explains the theoretical basis of this study in detail;Chapter 3analyzes the development and cost management of China’s iron and steel industry from a macro perspective.Starting from Chapter 4,an iron and Steel Group Company is introduced as a case.The author researched the operation conditions and cost accounting method of this case company;Chapter 5 presents the main results of enterprise research.In this chapter,the author studied the innovation of N company’s production mode through investigation and research,and finds out many methods for N company to reduce their product costing with the help of value chain.In the end,Chapter 6summarizes the research conclusions,limitations and prospects.The research conclusions of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)Iron and steel enterprises should strengthen the technology research and development related to energy conservation and carbon reduction,and pursue "carbon reduction","cost reduction" and "efficiency increase" at the same time;(2)Under the constraints of energy conservation and emission reduction,iron and steel enterprises should carefully describe and analyze the value chain and eliminate repetitive and none value-added operations;(3)The cost management of iron and steel enterprise based on value chain needs to unite all departments and full participation,in order to realize the integration of operation and finance;(4)Leading enterprises should play a leading role in promoting the transformation and upgrading of the traditional iron and steel industry. |
