| Walking pad products because of the overall model is small,folding portable and other characteristics of the epidemic home during the period to become the majority of sports enthusiasts keen fitness equipment.But because the walking pad is a "light exercise" fitness equipment,it faces problems such as low exercise intensity,small speed adjustment range,and fixed use scenarios compared with outdoor walking,and it is easy to produce a dull feeling after a long time walking,and it is difficult for users to develop the habit of using the walker.And the interface of the walker,as an important part of the walker,is not functional and does not play a role in guiding users to develop the habit.Therefore,this study applies the addiction model to the interface of the walker to motivate users to use the walker and develop the habit of using the walking pad.The present study is a detailed study of the walking pad interface based on the hook model.Firstly,this study analyzes the "trigger","action","variable reward" and "input" of users using the walking pad interface from the perspective of the hook model.And then,through online interviews and case studies,we find out the pain points of users’ inability to develop habits,and propose corresponding design strategies and design verification methods from the pain points.The main reason for the lack of emotional connection to the activity is the lack of rewards and the lack of a single design study.Based on user interviews and case studies,we propose a reward design strategy.Based on the reward design strategy,a structural equation model of "rewardsatisfaction-users’ continuance intention" and corresponding verification indexes were constructed,and the reward demand required for users to develop habits was explored through user satisfaction tests.At the end,we tested the increase of user satisfaction based on the "reward-satisfaction-users’ continuance intention" model,and then verified the increase of user intention to continue using.This proved the validity of the study.This study clarified the concept of hook model theory,proposed the design strategy of walking pad interface through the guidance of hook model theory,completed the design practice of walking pad interface,improved the possibility of users to develop the habit of walking,and laid a solid foundation for further optimization and iteration of walker interface design. |
