Research On The Application Of Fabric Collage In Decorative Painting

Although the category of "decorative painting" has not been developed in China for a long period of time,it has great inclusiveness and characteristics,and it is also one of the most important components of Chinese architectural design nowadays.With the further development of modern art,the barriers between various types of painting have been gradually broken down,and it is no longer only the hand-painted mode,but also the gradual integration of painting and non-painting materials.The pioneers of Cubism put some non-painting materials into their paintings.The rebellious nature of collage makes it one of the most revolutionary experimental methods of the 20th century,and as artists continue to explore and practice,there are numerous materials and techniques that can be used in collage.The rethinking of the value of materials that emerged from traditional collage techniques has also become a major genre in contemporary art.The material has increasingly become an important medium for artists to express their thoughts and feelings.The plasticity of cloth makes it a favorite collage material for many artists,and the techniques of cutting,knotting,wrinkling and pleating expand the collage techniques.The integration of cloth materials and collage techniques has broadened the expression and decorative language of decorative painting.Exploring and analyzing the innovative combinations between the three is a must for the decorative arts profession.The main purpose of this paper is,firstly,to dissect the development process and characteristics of decorative painting,the material and process of fabric and the visual perception of fabric.The second is to explore the expression of fabric collage decorative painting,and further explore the innovative forms of fabric,painting materials and non-painting materials in the process of analyzing and categorizing the summary.Finally,from the perspective of the formal aesthetics of decorative painting,the unique aesthetics created by fabric collage in decorative painting is elaborated.Through the innovative practice of examination,analysis,and design,new ideas and suggestions are proposed for the application of fabric collage in decorative painting.Therefore,it is very necessary to make theoretical analysis and practical creation of the expression and formal aesthetics of fabric collage in decorative painting.
